I love this place they give you a lot of food. The only thing I don’t like about this place is that they rarely have fried dumplin. Patties are only available 1st thing when they open, so after lunch they always sold out.

Just ordered take out from here. Second time ordering and all I can say is YUM. YUMM to the point that I took from my tv time to write a review YUMM. Got curry chicken mild (perfect spice level to call it a mild), rice and peas, plantains and my husband got meat patty. All super delicious and great amount of food for us to split. Price is perfect for us too. Gonna order anytime we r in port orange. Commercial break over. Just order some great food and stop reading. You won’t be disappointed.

DELICIOUS FOOD! Ordered the dinner plate of spicy shrimp curry with plantains, cornbread, and rice & peas and was NOT disappointed. (Highly recommend the cornbread!) The food was full of crazy flavor, taking my taste buds on a journey. To top it off, you’re given great portion sizes for a great price. My boyfriend also got a dinner plate, our total coming out to less than $30. Cannot recommend this place enough–will be coming back soon. Thanks, Better Jerk Jamaican Restaurant!

Nice little spot. Friendly staff. Food is tasty, spicier than I thought it would be (which I loved). Yellow rice was seasoned exquisitely. I’m excited to go back to try their desserts, too. I’m happy to have a quality Jamaican spot in port orange, I love our food in this town and it’s always great to see more foreign cuisine restaurants serving up delicious food

It’s SO hard to find good West Indian/Jamaican food in the area and this place nails it. I even prefer it to the many places I have tried in Orlando. The oxtail is hands down my favorite but everything there is delicious. I recommend calling ahead because sometimes they can be busy – it’s worth the wait though!!!
