We just had our son’s Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Bernie’s for 100 people! Wow…we had the sweetest experience!! The Food was beautiful and absolutely delicious! The staff just loved and cared for our guests so intentionally! They had a projector and screen for the video memories of our sweet couple! It was festive and beautiful! We highly recommend Bernie’s on Main for your special events! Our family is forever grateful!

Rating based on the not-so-good food; the service was excellent. First off, I was disappointed in the fact that they are in the process of changing their menu. Their website described a potentially good sounding Reuben. Got there to find out lunch option limited to meat & two. The hostess was very nice in explaining the transitional menu status. She even offered me a view of the hot bar before sitting down. It smelled good, but did not taste good. I must say that they have the BEST macaroni and cheese I have ever had away from home. The great service and mac & cheese salvaged a sour lunch experience into an okay one. Mulligan this time, but I’ll try again later. Great service beats mediocre food any day.

Wonderful lunch experience. Food was fresh and tasted great. Perfect blend of seasonings. Took the waiters suggestions and was not disappointed. Great price and friendly service. The owner was in the store as he said he is daily. He was a very nice Pisano with deep roots in Italy.

food was awesome terrific now too the service,bar and manager worst experience I have ever had waitress could not bus the table had dirty wet napkins sitting on table till we left then our bar drinks were never mixed and the two glasses from bar were never taken away when they were empty she really didn’t know the menu. when we receive the food it was great but still had empty glasses and dirty napkins on table. when we asked for check we had to wait then received it and waited 20 mins to pay for meal then at that time the so called manager which never said her name brought us the receipt and had a made up excuse for why it took so long… so if u want to eat here order it to go but I will never come back here again no matter how good the food was…..

This place definitely caters to the older crowd, not that we’re spring chickens. For the most part, this is buffet style dining with a meat and three pricing arrangement. The buffet is fairly limited in selection, and some of the vegetables were canned. Pricing is based on the number of items you select for your plate. The food is okay, but we are not likely to dine there again.

I know this is a popular local place, but we’ve been a few times and I just don’t get it. The food is…not great. It feels like it’s trying to be some fancy restaurant, but it just isn’t. The menu seems ok, though there are a few things that are a little ridiculous (really, a grilled salad wedge?). The servers are friendly, but they seem to be held back by the kitchen. We were there for like 2 hours, while our orders trickled out one at a time. And then the food just wasn’t very good. Some was ok, like the cheese grits and BBQ. Some was nearly inedible, like the chicken salad and mozzarella sticks. And the prices are outrageous. Even if it was cooked well, the price is considerably higher than I would expect for the same food at a much nicer restaurant. But I guess if you’re the only place in town…

Disgusting grease pit. If you want something burned in grease. this is your spot. And you have to wait a long time! Apparently they don’t rush burning the food. The waitress went out of her way to be as useless as possible, by avoiding our table. Driving father, anywhere and getting some fast food would be an improvement! Stay Away!

Nice local restaurant with a pleasing atmosphere and friendly employees. Food is okay but not exceptional. Definitely better than all the chains and fast food in the area. But no restaurant for the foodie or for those wanting a unique or exceptional dining experience.

Usually great food and service, but tonight was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Arrived at the restaurant at 5:30, placed order right away. 6:30 the salad showed up, 7:00 the food finally showed up to the table. Order was wrong, food was cold, okra was good tho when it finally showed up after I ate. Won’t be back here

Service was glacially slow despite the few customers in the place. We sat for 25 minutes before our order was taken, and over half an hour more until the food arrived. Never once did our server come by and apologize or even let us know that our dinner was forthcoming. The food was good when it arrived, but the wait and lack of service was unacceptable.
