First time here and felt compelled to leave a review based on the fact that this place has the best service of any place I have been in a long time. Milica was our server and she was very sweet and kind. Shout out to Evan and Aaron as well- had to ask for their names because they were just that awesome. Very attentive and looking to make sure their guests have an excellent experience to go along with the amazing food and drinks here. Great date night place!!

The food was incredibly uninspired and overpriced. We had the Oyster mushroom sweet pea risotto and a burger. The risotto was completely flavorless and at $22 a plate I would expect more than one mushroom. The burger was acceptable but the fries were clearly the bottom of the bag. I shouldn’t have to eat my fries with a spoon. The drinks were fine and the service was fast. The price point does not match the quality.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Metro Detroit area. The service is excellent and it’s a beautiful restaurant. We had the cauliflower wings and they had the perfect amount of heat and tremendous flavor. The Pad Thai was filled with a delicious complexity of flavor. My son said the Seared Salmon was one of the best salmon dishes he’s ever had. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The waiter apologized for the 25 wait for the salmon, but we’re dining out and having some great conversation in a lovely restaurant. The desert was incredible, too. Whatever dessert you choose, it will bring a smile to your face. All of the portion sizes were absolutely perfect. This is January 2023, and they have just switched to a new seasonal menu. This is a great date night restaurant or just a lovely brunch spot with friends.

Cool place, but I’m cheap and the value just wasn’t there. I got the French toast, which is just the toast, no bacon or sausage. They also put the caramel sauce on in the kitchen and don’t send any sauce or syrup so if you’re like me and like to drown your French toast, you’re out of luck.

I really wanted Berkley Common to be more than common. I have dined at this restaurant at least five times and the food has been unremarkable each and every time. It’s local for me… a pretty space, with lovely lighting; which is why I continue to give it a shot.
