Took a little while to get seated. Service was slow. Ordered a side of cottage cheese with my main course. When it came it was only 3 teaspoons in size. So I sent bk and ordered Cole slaw which appeared to be old and was only 4 teaspoons in size. Not sure why they were so skimpy in lieu of the prices. Main course Beef Tips was good. Next time will order liver and onions which my wife had that was great. Saw three parties leave that were waiting too long in lieu of empty tables. Organization of duties and a sense of hustle was definitely missing!!! Why no roll too with beef???

I stopped here at 12:30 on a Tuesday and it took a while to be seated. There were only two of the smaller tables on the perimeter open and I was seated at one of them. After a few minutes I was finally given a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. Another worker brought my drink and then it took at least 5 mins for my order to be taken.

A steadfast classic of Bay City for several generations, this sit down family restaurant specializes in seafood. Perch, Walleye, Shrimp, Clam Strips, and Scallops are among the several dinner offerings. To me, the highlight are the German Potatoes. Get a pint or quart to go!! The sweet vinegar flavor is unique and quite memorable. Onion rings and fries are crispy and hearty. Lots of mushrooms on the mush/Swiss burger. Dinner roll was soft and fresh. Slow on a Sunday night, servers are friendly and the food came out lightning fast.

My husband and I stopped in for a meal, on our way back from up north. We arrived around 3 pm. We were seated within 5 minutes, drink order taken immediately. Our servicer was Allison. She was very attentive and nice. My husband had the Hot Beef Sandwich with fries and tossed salad. I had the Chicken Club with fries. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The only complaint was the tossed salad. It was little more than iceberg lettuce. Not worth it. My husband wishes he would have asked for something different for his side. We will definitely be going back, though. We liked the family atmosphere.

Here we go! Located a nice family diner off the highway while passing thru. Overall experience was good. Very empty (3:30ish). Waitress was great, space was clean and spacious. Food was ok. FRYER ALERT: Fries tasted as if they were fried in the same oil they fry their fish products in. Fries Had that fish taste and was an Immediate no for me. Italian slider was very good. Heavy handed on the butter to the point it was dripping when biting into. Club, sad lookin but “ok”.

Great local Family restaurant with long history of fresh delicious food. Visiting for the Midland antique festival. We stayed around the corner and have seen the billboard on I 75 for their Fresh Perch! Boy was it good! You could tell it was freshly caught and freshly prepared with a light coating and seasoning. As good as the fried fish I buy when in the UP! Got with fries and salad. Good stuff. Glad we came by!

“Family” Restaurant is a joke. I was made to feel like a total inconvenience when there was only one other table occupied in the entire restaurant. The waitress seemed frustrated that I needed more time to order and was not very helpful or friendly. I walked out before my order was ever taken.

Stopped here randomly on our way through and was delighted with the burger, one of the best I’ve had in ages. The restaurant was clean and not very busy. The staff was friendly and attentive.
