Great lunch bento with a wide variety of flavors and textures from the karaage to the sushi. Would definitely recommend.

My to go bento place. Love this place and tried couple of their items like salmon, saba, and my favorite is katsu. They also have some dessert from pastry mitten. Highly recommend it. A gem in the neighborhood.

The best Japanese rice meals in town come from this place. They have a strong Japanese-bias authenticity, which means their food are not too “Americanized”. Japanese is my favorite cuisine, and this is one of the best I’ve had here in WA. This is my guilty pleasure, and I come here a lot (sometimes daily, or every other day).

I love this place! They have a reliable online takeout system and accurate pick up time (usual 30 minutes after placing an order). They have a wide selection of home cooked bento style Japanese food from meat to fish. The food taste is less sodium flavor which I love. The people are very friendly and well aware of social distancing (i.e. one customer inside at the time) and cleanliness (i.e. clean vs. used pen to sign).

The price goes up while the food quality goes down a lot. Have been their customer for more than 3 years and the recent orders really let us down, not fresh as before. Of course everything is more expensive now, but with the raised price, the quality should been at least same as before.

My go-to Japanese food in Issaquah. Very authentic bento. Some of their best dishes are chicken katsu with curry, as well as their salmon dishes.

Great place for Japanese takeout. And really only for takeout as there are no tables inside to eat, only a counter to order. Food is fresh and tastes great. All the bentos are good, but the Shoukadou is the best and comes with miso. Sashimi is only okay so you should try the other items first.

I’m so glad this place is in my neck of the woods. Ordered the Makunouchi and the lunch special goemon with chicke karage and spicy tuna roll. Immediately what struck me is the presentation and the balance of foods. Both core elements in Japanese cuisine. All delicious, so i have nothing negative to say….at all!! It’s a take out only establishment so you can call in or order online. You absolutely must try this place! Flavors are not over powering or over seasoned, just right. This place is now my go to in Issaquah.

Great little hole in the wall place. The bentos were delicious! My wife had the beef katsu and I had the wagyu kalbi bento, both were excellent. There is no seating area so all orders are meant for takeout. Ordering ahead is encouraged if you don’t want to wait. Orders may take up to 15 minutes depending on what is ordered and how many orders are in progress.
