The girls and I got together to get food and do karaoke. When I arrived I parked on the street around the corner. Parking isn’t the best in the area. I walked in and was greeted and found our table. The restaurant is byob, so the supervisor opened my wine. Tina was our server, and she was cool. For my meal, I ordered the shrimp & yellow rice with a side of macaroni and cheese and kale.

Food looked much better than it tasted. There was a pretty good wait (20 -25 mins) considering it was only us and one more table. I ordered turkey wings. I assumed they’d be slow roasted or baked/smothered. They were fried with gravy on top. They seriously lacked flavor. I had to send my two sides of yellow rice and collards back bc they were cold. I’m typing this as I wait for them to be heated up and as the rest of my food gets cold The waiter definitely forgot about reheating them. I had to ask for them. My boyfriend ordered catfish, yellow rice and potato salad. It came with one piece of catfish for $22. The best thing was the lemonade. I’m highly disappointed overall. Slow service, flavorless food especially for the price. I’m from South Carolina. I know soul food, this AIN’T it. I will not be returning nor recommending this spot.

Today would’ve been my first time ordering from this establishment. I Called in to place an order for pickup. I was speaking to a guy that answered the phone. When I inquired about the the vegan burger and the sweet potato burger the host couldn’t be so bothered to explain what each burger entailed needless to say as a vegan it’s important to me what ingredients are in the food as I don’t eat certain things. I can only say the customer service it key in running any business and unfortunately they won’t be receiving any of minds. Poor service

I ordered Uber Eats, the jumbo shrimp with two sides of mashed potatoes which looked and smelled rancid. The shrimp was way too salty, and the candied yams were ok but overly sweet! Banana pudding is usually delicious, however, the presentation was disappointing and it was a bit chalky. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the meal and had to toss it, a complete waste! A low vibrational plate of high blood pressure and diabetes!

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Waited over 90 minutes for my food. The chicken wings tasted foreign. Had this vinegar flavor that was disgusting. The collard greens came out ice cold. Sent them back and they came back out edible. I would not serve this food to a raging mad pit bull, no less a human being. Barry the cook should be ashamed of himself. They need to shut this sorry excuse for a restaurant DOWN.

First time trying this place. I like to try and support small black-owned businesses when I can, but when I do I’m often disappointed. For the prices I was charged most of the food was underwhelming. I ordered the “lump” crab cakes with mac and potato salad. The mac was beyond dry to say the least(pics to follow). I also ordered the lobster roll which had a very strong fishy smell to it. Not used to that from fresh seafood. Me and my wife went to an actual seafood restaurant and I smell more fish from this roll than I did from the actual seafood restaurant. My wife ordered the henny wings with collards and mac. Her mac was just as dry as mines with the collards being bland and the wings being just barely passed cooked for consumption. The only winner was the lobster mac and cheese. Other than that I don’t think I will be giving this place another try especially not with the quality of food for the prices they charge.

I love Bentley’s! The minute you step foot in the place, the whole entire staff treats you like you’re family. The food is so flavorful, comes out fresh and hot, and my order is always right. They have hookah and BYOB which is my favorite part. The waitress I had yesterday was Nana and she was so attentive, entertaining, and respectful. She made my experience 10x better. I also been here for multiple events and there’s even an option to rent out the space for your event. 10/10 definitely recommend!

What can I say about this restaurant is the food is DELICIOUS!!!!!! I had got the grilled shrimp over rice with the collard greens and candied yams.. IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD THAT I WAS TRYING TO MAKE IT LAST FOR TWO MEALS BUT, I KEPT PICKING AT IT!! The shrimps were well seasoned!! IF I COULD GIVE THIS RESTAURANT 10 STARS I WOULD!!! I will be back to try more on the menu
