Pretty standard food. Not bad, not great. Seemed to be one of the few places open early so it was somewhat busy. Service was fantastic, we had omelettes which were pretty bland (we both added Tapatio and/or ketchup to our breakfasts).

Friendly server. Food was okay. Eggs were soaked in margarine. Strawberries were still frozen on the pancake…and very expensive. Nothing to write home about. Was glad to find a breakfast joint!

Kids had a great breakfast here. I have a very picky eater and she loved the pancakes. I had the crab and it was delicious. My son had biscuits and gravy it was delicious. The staff was friendly and it was a short wait. I knew the food was good because each table had plates that were cleaned where everyone ate all their food. Great place to eat and we will eat here again before we head home. The hugs were awesome too.

Very quick and efficient service. We walked in on a busy morning and were seated right away. The man at the hostess stand was extremely friendly and helpful. Our waitress was kind and quick. There was a bus boy who came by frequently to refill cups and take away any dirty plates. Food was hot and delivered to the table quick. Wish they were open for dinner but definitely would come back here again.

As a local, we have decided to never come back here again and advise others to go elsewhere. Rather than be straight up, they are sneaky and petty. You want a lemon slice for your iced tea? They charge you 25 cents on your bill without telling you. Want whip cream on your French toast? 0.75 cents without notice. The fact that they don’t even tell you about these small charges is unbelievable. Never again. Hope the micro charges are worth losing business. Food quality or service doesn’t matter when a business acts like this. Stay far far away from this place.

It’s always crowded in summer. They take a bit to get your food, and the food is just okay. Since it’s right on the main drag through Long Beach, it’s quite popular in summer. I wild compare it with Dennys. They do have vegetarian options, but not many. Oatmeal is from a packet.

Recommend coming here for breakfast if you are staying in Longbeach. It’s busy around 9:20am on Friday and had to wait to be seated. While waiting a lady brought coffee, that was nice and hot.
