Food is absolutely phenomenal. The girl at the front is the rudest person on the face of the earth. Dumb & ignorant. When I called the order in (1 hr) ahead of time, I was immediately asked if I wanted to wait 25 min for the tips to be done. I said that was fine. She responded with, “You sure?!”. I said, Yes I’m sure. Placed the order, showed up about 45 min later. She was now at the window, “your order isn’t ready, do you still want it?”. I responded with, Yes I’ll wait. After about 20 min of waiting, I asked how much longer it would be. She responded with ” You’ve only been here for 20 min, why you lying about waiting an hour?!” She got aggressive and started screaming at me. The cook (Eddie) came around from the back and was immediately apologetic. Save me from asking for a refund and storming out. But I felt the management should know the trash that is answering the phone and taking customers money. Just disrespectful for no reason.

They spicy sauce is good but the amount of food you get for the price is shameful the links tasted old then tips tasted like they was boiled then barbecued I would not go back that tray was 28$

The food was horrible. I ordered a small tip with hot and mild sauce and a small link. The link barely had any sauce on there and the meat was barely edible. The link was so tough and it was hard to bite into. The rib tips tasted as if they were prepared out of an oven and had barely any flavor to it. Called to complain and share my thoughts on the food and the lady who answered the phone needs a course in customer service. Very rude, in closing I wouldn’t give this food away for free. 0/10

I had the half slab of ribs ( 6 ) bones, came with fries and bread, not worth the price, I believe it was 25.00. I didn’t enjoy my food, I was expecting better, I didn’t like the flavor of the sauce, I think it was a vinegar base, the ribs were tough. I would give them between 4.5 and 5 stars, this is a bar-be-cue restaurant, I just expected better, I may try this place again, it’s not very far from home.

This place is horrible! The ribs were bad and the amount you get for the price is ridiculous. The chicken was bad… how you mess up chicken? For 8 pieces they wanted $21 mind blowing… but my husband wanted to support this black owned business ♀️ Never again will I step into their doors. They need to close down and think of a way to make their food and services better.

The food was awful. Order a large turkey tip, and a large fish and chicken They gave me what looked like old catfish and shrimp and neither one looked like a large. The fries was supposed to be in a separate try. All the food was in big bowls. I had to order a pan of chicken from somewhere else. Very disappointed

Yeah, I’ve been coming to Ben BBQ restaurant and every since he used to be called Joe’s barbecue and my wife place the order at 2:39 simple order tips & 4 wings a Uber eats driver behind her a total of eight customers order after my wife I’m noticing chicken wings on everybody else order that was placed after my wife, so why is her wings still cooking 25 minutes later? Decide to eat Mexican food for the Fourth of July.

I’m a Southside Woman and usually only eat ribs from my end of town, however, a conference I was attending on the Westside of town let out late so I looked for Barbecue (on Google of course) and made my way to Ben’s Bar-Be-Cue. I got there 30 minutes before closing, normally people are in a bad mood or serve the days remaining food with attitude, so I was surprised when I was greeted and offered a taste test by none other than Mr. Ben himself! I love the pride in ownership and confidence in his product as he told me about his barbecue.
