We stopped today 9/3/2023 it was 91° outside and equally as hot inside not kidding! Seriously I’m always cold, I was sweating. We placed our orders ( 3 adults and 3 kids) the waiter brought our drinks then Seriously We didn’t see him for 25 mins!!! Our food was ok but nothing great. It’s like the restaurant is half Italian half Mexican. Ok pick one. The quality has gone out the window…. they lost 3 returning customers.

Ordered dinner for delivery through DoorDash. We got lasagna with a Cesar salad, and stuffed shells with Italian wedding soup. They must have forgotten that a lasagna normally is layered with cheese, meat, and sauce between the noodles because ours had 3 noodles, no cheese inside, and maybe 2 tablespoons of ground beef with sauce poured over the top. The Cesar salad comes with Italian dressing, not Cesar dressing. The stuffed shells portion is incredibly small. For $13 I got 3 shells with just cheese inside. The Italian wedding soup had only 1 meatball in it. The crackers that came with the soup were stale. I really wanted to like this place since it is close. But it was a big disappointment and we will not be getting food here again.

We ordered through GrubHub. Our driver gets there and somehow they don’t have our order? We ordered the spinach dip. It’s literally Tostitos dip you can get from the grocery store. Mozzarella sticks were fibe. My husband got the ultimate quesadilla. It was supposed to be without onions but they included them. Food was okay but not great.

We called in a pizza order and was very thorough on the order. Went to pick up and it took forever. Kept asking what was going on. Terrible communication amongst workers and finally lady at counter said something about they ordered pizza an hour ago. We got frustrated and asked for our money back. The person in charge did nothing to make it right and we did not have time to wait all night for a pizza. Horrible service. very bad experience. We loved Bennys and ate there all the time very sad, terrible service. Don’t plan on going back.

So we ordered the caprese salad on 3-10-23 a long with some pizzas. According to their menu the caprese salad came with FRESH basil and a balsamic reduction/glaze. What we got was slices of under ripe roma tomatoes, mozzarella slices sprinkled with dried basil and NO balsamic reduction/glaze!!!! It was absolutely flavorless!!!! It was NOTHING CLOSE to what is in their menu description. Luckily I had some reduction in my fridge so I could taste something. Also their pizza was haphazardly made and ended up more crust then toppings. I have never felt so disappointed in the food we received for the amount of money we paid!! Tried once and NEVER AGAIN!! Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else for pizza and appetizers.

We ordered the crab & shrimp pasta and also the salmon &crab pasta. Both were prepared quickly and served by a very pleasant staff. Garlic bread was delicious and large quantity. Caesar salads were also very fresh, with plenty of croutons and fresh grated cheese. Experience was very good and we will return again to try some other menu items.
