I was born in New York City and grew up on classic New York style slices. Anyone who’s ever been to New York knows the luxury of having ready to order pizza at all hours of the night. Outside of New York, this luxury is hard to find, and when I moved to Raleigh, I found most pizzerias in this city to be average at best, and even the decent pizzerias close by 10 if not earlier.

Stopped by here to grab a quick bite and the place did not look too busy. I had one slice of pepperoni pizza. I just ordered one because I wanted to try it but did not expect it to be so big. The pizza slice was HUGE! For the price of $6 I think it was worth it. It was a good slice, not perfect but good. I bought a marinara sauce too so I could dip the crust (I would recommend a dip because it’s a lot crust). The staff was young and kind of entertaining. It started to rain hard and wasn’t so busy so some of them ran outside into the rain to check out how hard it was raining, and got wet. They were laughing and having fun which I did not mind but I can see how to others it might seem unprofessional. Saw a family eating next to us kind of give them a look. The staff was kind though and was ready to help us when we needed to order.

THIS PIZZA IS FLR THE DRUNKS. They ONLY HAVE cheese ($5/slice) & pepperoni ($6/slice). Large slices but in my opinion still over priced. However, I’m from up North so I know specialty pizzas equally as big for the same price. And much better tasting so I am bias. To come to a place with large slices priced for basic pizza is ridiculous to me. The pizza are thin slices. The dough could be better. Lastly , the place is ran by high school children. I came on a day that was not busy and all of the tables were dirty. I asked for a wet rag and the employee said we have paper towels you can use. AKA, they can’t be bothered to wipe a table on a not busy afternoon. Do not recommend there are better places with more options and better service.

Visiting Raleigh/Charlotte NC from Upstate Ny. So we’re very familiar with NYC style pizza. The garlic mushroom pizza with chicken was very delicious.(Just as good as back home if not better ). You should definitely check this place out. Service was top-notch, Evan and Alyssa were great, the food and service that they displayed were very good definitely will be back when visiting in town..

Guys what’s going on here?? The slices are SMALLER!!! Look at the pics from last month vs last Friday!! May and June vs July! They used to be so big they put a slice on two plates and now they easily fit on one plate!!!

The pizza was very good- some of the best we’ve ever had – and the slices are HUGE. The young men working there were doing a good job. The only thing we didn’t like was the atmosphere. It was kinda dirty and our table was broken and slanted. There were, what looked like homeless people, loitering and trying to use the restroom, which was “out of order.” I don’t think it was really out of order; I think they just didn’t want people coming in off the street to use it. So that meant we couldn’t use it we either when we needed to. I guess it would be best to just get your pizza to-go, which is inconvenient when you’re visiting the area.

The crust is always good here. There aren’t a ton of options but what they have is good. Not a lot of seating but I think most people get their food to go. Very casual vibe which I like. The slices are of course enormous. Pricing is good considering that.

The biggest pizza slices around the triangle area! If you’re looking for a large amount of pizza that tastes decent, this is the place. It’s nothing special but the size is massive and it’s $6 per slice. The inside was pretty run down but the style of pizza was similar to New York style pizza and definitely cool to try!

I’m honestly surprised to see any negative reviews. YES, the staff is young… and friendly! YES, the options were minimal, but that absolutely cuts down on wait time! The prices were great, especially considering they are in a super prime location. It was delicious pizza, and I would absolutely recommend.
