Food was fine. We came right after opening so the food was fresh. I wish most of the fish options weren’t fried but the ones I did get were still pretty fresh and was fried the right amount. I’m always iffy about crab cakes anywhere but there were decent. I definitely preferred the crab cake in the shell, it was softer and had a little kick to it.

We were surprised to find it so uncrowded this time. I heard they had applied for a liquor license so apparently they lost it fir whatever reason. Personally I loved it being less chaotic. The food was hot fresh and delicious. The service was great. Plus this time no one was pushing cutting line or being totally rude. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our meal today at Bennett’s Calabash. The host who seated us, our server, and those keeping the food replenished on the food bars all seemed to take pride in working there and were all working diligently to please the customers.

Hubby and I totally loved this quaint spot. Because it’s a calabash we expected it to be much more crowded, but it wasn’t. Our server, Dravka (I hope I spelled that correctly) was wonderfully amazing. We are going back for sure!

At first we thought it was a bit pricey for a buffet. But the All-you-can-eat buffet includes salad, meat, seafood, and dessert bars. I had a ribeye steak and a plate of crab legs. It was around 8pm and some of the crab legs were soft, harder to crack. Service was on point. Buffet lines were easy to maneuver and well explained.

We really like this place. They have a great variety of food. We went between lunch and dinner, so there weren’t a lot of people. This can be a bad thing for a buffet as food can sit there for a while. They kept the crab legs coming a few at a time so they were freshly cooked. The crab legs were very good and we definitely had our minutes worth. The hush puppies were really good as well. Our server was excellent. She made sure we had our drinks and fresh plates and took away the used plates. My wife really liked the stuffed crabs and mushrooms as well. I really like the fruit they had. The pineapple was really good.

Service was awesome. Such nice ladies. Most of the food was fantastic. The crab legs were spot on. The broiled/grilled fish were seasoned well. I loved the cole slaw and hushpuppies. The fried seafood was great. Husband wasn’t thrilled with some if the non-seafood options, as he felt they may have been reheated. The dessert options were numerous, but not as great as I had hoped. Overall definitely enjoyed and will absolutely be back!

This is a very expensive buffet and not worth the cost. The meal did not include the drink, which was an extra 2.99. We paid $98.00 for a buffet dinner. It is not worth the cost. You would do better to go to Golden Corral where the meal is so much better. It is located in Myrtle Beach as well. We are from Michigan and this food was really good and very tasty. You will not regret visiting there.
