At first glance it seems run down. But the food was amazing. The carnitas were moist and flavorful. The enchiladas were amazing and the sauce I could by itself with their wonderful tortillas. I was raised on this kind of cooking, so I am picky. I would go back every chance I got. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. Huge portions.

The food was delicious and hot. The service was great too, but they are so busy with a small staff. Our waitress was very sweet and made sure we were taken care of. Everyone was friendly and caring. They let us dine out front because we were traveling with our dog and even offered water to him. My husband had the carnitas which were tender and crisp with flavorful pico de galló and guac. I had the red cheese enchiladas and they were lovely too. I love the stacked New Mexico style enchiladas instead of the rolled ones. If you’re passing through, this little business may not look like much, but it’s worth stopping at.

Great food and service. We had been driving for four hours and wanted a nice breakfast. The kids ordered pancakes. My wife ordered the vegetarian omelette, and I ordered the huevos rancheros. All the food was great, but the chorizo used in my meal was amazing. It was the best chorizo I’ve ever had. (I love Tex-Mex in Houston.) If you need a good breakfast and you’re on I-10 in New Mexico, go eat there.

Breakfast or lunch the service is always outstanding! I love the country fried steak for breakfast and the burger and fries for lunch. But what ever you order is always made with love.

Amazing food for VERY cheap! The interior is really nice and there’s also outdoor seating in the cool shade. The waiter was friendly and the overall vibe was great. We got two breakfasts and a horchata for $20 total, great place to stop on the road.

The service and food here are amazing. I’ve had many of their breakfast and lunch/dinner plates. The food is always very good. Authentic Mexican food like it’s homemade. Chile is always the right amount of heat. Come and eat here. You’ll enjoy it.

What a great little restaurant. Great food and great service. Friendly and attentive. Well worth the small detour off of the interstate.

This place was pretty good. Nice grandma was attentive. Food was good. The only improvement I would ask is that the cheese is completely melted in the enchiladas before being served. It was still in the shredded state and not hot. The tamale was the best!
