I have been wanting to try this place out, and it did not disappoint! Very kind and attentive staff, kid friendly environment, good ol christian music on the radio. The food was fresh and delicious, and chips and salsa were nummy. Fresh corn tortilla chips and cilantro and onion salsa. Steak tacos were cooked and seasoned well. They gave me corn tortillas because I did not specify flour. Which for me, I just prefer flour. Refried beans were good, and the queso was good! Highly recommend!

I think it may be too soon to go. Felt thrown together and incomplete. Staff were attentive but couldn’t answer some questions. Food wasn’t quite up to quality of Benis in Kilgore. The restaurant is awkward looking cross between the old panther pizza and a Mexican place. Bad condition of building is hard to hide without spending some $. Camarones and squash was good. The other dish was weak.

We tried this for the first time on 4/16 and enjoyed it. The chips and salsa were good. The beef and cheese nachos were good. Rice and queso was good. The Tacos Mexicanos had a good flavor, although I don’t think I got the onions and cilantro on the side. Not a big deal though. The sour cream chicken Enchiladas had a good flavor. The taco meat on the crispy taco could’ve used a bit more seasoning, but it was stuffed full, unlike other places.

I have been to benis’s lots of times and the food in rather not that good. I ordered Ivan’s garlic shrimp with butter which came with a seafood salad and rice. I honestly didn’t want the seafood salad mainly because the last times I had it, it wasn’t good so I asked for refried beans instead. I never got my refried beans with my order after asking for it a few times. The rice was super dry and I ended up having to mix my butter with it to get some moister in the rice so I can eat it. And the shrimp was over cooked to the point it was hard to tear the shrimp apart. There was only like 6 shrimp in total which I get but it was literally swimming in a bowl full of butter. The waitress was nice, she had reddish hair and was really patient with me. She is definitely overworked because she was waiting on like 6 or 7 tables and she was the only server there. Overall the food is bad and the service is pretty good.

We came in 1st time to be here got seated soon as we came in. Very fast service and on top of anything u need. We ordered and in no time our food was coming out which we had beef enchilada w sour cream sauce plate, beef fajitas, 2 crunchy tacos. It was fabulous! Really good all the way around!! Even reasonable prices!! Will be back for more! Plus on our way out while we were paying our waitress gave my son for being there for the 1st time his choice of 1 piece of candy free. Thank yall!

First time here! A lil disappointed in cheese enchiladas.. it was more like a mexican cheese stick. ♀️ but everything else was awesome! Waitress Olivia was really sweet and friendly and was perfect! Hubby Roy and his friend Chance loved it! They had the special Monterey fajitas! They said it was different but good! oh and fyi Chance is single! Lol will go back for sure!

Me & my brother &sister went here today and my food was very good and my brothers but my sisters fajitas was tough and I got tacos to go for my husband and it was like a teaspoon of meat on all 5 street tacos the pico de gallo was going spoiled he said and we was over charged for everything
