Order the beignets! Food was delicious, and service was even better!! Jamie was our server and she was absolutely the best! She was very helpful and welcoming and kind to our kids. Chicken fried steak was great and the burgers are obviously made fresh by hand. We just went through town and stopped based on reviews and I’m glad we went! Turnip greens were bland but everything else was awesome!

First, the food. Amazing. The beef tips were so amazing and full of flavor. The peas were very well seasoned as well! The people we ate with also had the chicken fried steak and said it was very good to! Plus bonus FREE DESERT! When we went it was very very busy but they brought us a drink while we waited and were very polite. Great staff and great atmosphere with amazing food. Definitely recommend!

Traditional diner with great atmosphere and a good hearty breakfast. Here you will find friendly service in a place where a lot of folks know one another. A group of ladies might be holding a Bible study and at the next table a young father maybe sharing a meal with his toddler. Some old men in overalls and cowboy hats are getting the day started and sharing stories from long ago. A wayward traveler is probably sitting somewhere solo enjoying their first meal after seeing the reviews and deciding to see what all the fuss was about.About as southern and as American as you can get. Piping hot community coffee and good omelettes. Definitely put this one on your list. Oh and they sell pies.
