My friends and I just came back from a four day trip to Banner Elk NC, and on our last day we came to Bella’s for breakfast. It was amazing! The service was great, the food was so good, the employees were so sweet and professional! Everything was great! The restaurant isn’t big and the line gets long so if you go definitely get there early. Either way the experience is worth it!

Enjoyed an excellent breakfast at Bella’s. Our waitress, DonRae was superb and super friendly. Our meal came out super fast and was steaming hot! My wife had the Smoked Salmon Omelette and I had 3 egg breakfast plate with a side of pancakes. We will definitely be returning to this little gem the next time visiting Banner Elk.

The food was good and the prices and reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the big rooster i think. It came with waffles, 2 meats, grits/fries, toast and 2/3 eggs.

Had a 20 minute wait, don’t know if the college starting had much to do with it since there didn’t seem to be a lot of families with college age kids. It just seemed to be a popular place. Inside was constantly full but they weren’t seating outside. The staff was small but hustled. They were pleasant & accommodating. We keep it basic with eggs, home fries, bacon, & toast but it was good enough to be considered comfort food.

Amazing little diner. Very charming, small and cozy, getting a parking space can be tricky but it is worthy. They are a bit short on staff so don’t get mad at them, food is delicious.

We went to Bella’s for breakfast on our family vacation. The biscuits, bacon, and pancakes were the star of the show. I got the steak and eggs plate, but I wish I had gotten what my husband or son had gotten. My steak was very fatty. They have amazing coffee. Service was a little lack luster. When we came in were weren’t greeted at all. We actually stood there for a few minutes and eventually had to ask someone behind the register if were supposed to seat ourselves. She said no and that someone would be with us soon. It was several minutes before someone came to us. The server we had also had to be flagged down to getsilverware, refills, etc. She never came to us to see if we needed anything.

Its a shame because the food was simple, classic and just overall hit the spot. The bug red flag is the sign out front saying that they have an entire new staff. It shows. The decor is cute but its lacking in overall atmosphere. Our waitress seemed super new to overall being a server. Never checked in, very closed off and forgot some of our food. Had her take it off the bill which she did. For a place that looks super quaint and has the potential to be a local gem is obviously struggling.

Delicious Grub! Great customer service, although a bit slow: but we are all forewarned, short staffed, lack of working humans as experienced far too often in todays society but great place to revisit

Although they were short staffed and there was a line down the sidewalk, we were welcomed with beautiful friendly smiles, great service and fabulous food!! Loved it and highly recommend!

Tried out this nice little place for breakfast this AM. It was great! Food was hot and tasty, nothing super unique but a good classic breakfast choice.
