Super tasty – I found this place when I had a craving for a NY style pizza on our way to visit family, and now we pick one up every trip. I always order a simple plain cheese pizza, and it totally hits the spot; even my hardcore carnivore boyfriend loves it! Bella Mia is a totally unassuming strip mall pizza joint next to Food Lion, but surprisingly one of my top five favorites!

We came in a little before closing and that wasn’t a problem. Erin (I think that was her name), was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the garlic knots, a pizza, and eggplant parmesan. The food and service was great!!

Pizza was kinda bland and the crust was a bit like cardboard but the thing that made this review have one star was opening my sandwich and finding the browned bottom of a stalk of romaine lettuce in there. That’s the part you’re supposed to throw in the trash not in the sandwich. Discussing.

Paid almost 18 dollars for a single order of spaghetti and a side salad,,live around the corner,, got home and spaghetti was room temperature,if that, also sauce had no flavor,, have eaten there a few times,,but this was most disappointing!!! Will be hard to give them another chance.

This pizza is life. I would buy their pompadoro sauce by the gallon. Their crust is beyond reproach. The pastas are wonderful as well, the sauce makes everything it touches turn into yum. If you want REAL Italian food, this is the place.
