This is the spot if you are looking for a vibey, romantic atmosphere. Perfect for an intimate date night. The food was a little on the pricier side, so I would have liked it if the portions were larger or if there was any complimentary bread to nibble on. However, the food was delicious and it was obvious it was made to order fresh. The food didn’t take a crazy amount of time to come out either. Our server was excellent. Very attentive without hovering. Only removing a star due to the portion sizes you get for the price. My boyfriend and I each got an appetizer & an entree and we were still a little hungry when we left.

This may be my favorite Italian place near Denver! Everything I ate I loved. The atmosphere is nice and perfect for a date night.

Had a nice birthday dinner with friends at Bella Colibri on a Saturday night a few months ago. The restaurant was busy and all tables were filled. We had reservations for a group and were seated right away. Our server was friendly and prompt and made good recommendations. We tried a few things and everything was good! We started with the olives, which were a good snack to start with. For the mains we tried the stuffed shells, beef bolognese, and the special steak dish with potatoes. All were good! We were the last table in the restaurant at the end of the night, but they never made us feel rushed to leave, but instead brought out a little birthday desert with candle – it was very nice! We’ll be back again to try a few more items!

Ask for the table out back for date night! Mike was our server and was outstanding. We will return! Get the Osso Buco! And the bread!

Great choice for our anniversary dinner! Classic spaghetti and meatballs, Prawn Picatta and sides of Broccolini. SO GOOD. Desserts: Lemon & Olive Oil Cake and Lemon Sorbetto. Deliciousness to match our celebration. Courteous and helpful waiter, Joseph, was generous with recommendations. If ever in Golden, check out Bella Colibri (“beautiful hummingbird”), you will have a wonderful experience.

Excellent first experience at Bella Colibri! We started with the burrata salad and marinated lamb appetizers, and both were incredible. I had the halibut and my husband had the lasagna for our main dishes, which were great and good portion sizes (we both took home leftovers). Loved the wine our waiter recommended! We had excellent service, and loved the ambience of the historic building, though it could get a little noisy. We will be back and are excited to try more dishes.

Reservation last November for our anniversary made online. Arrived and person at front takes our info and starts walking away, turns and looks at us and motions like we are morons for not following him to our table. So odd. My lasagna didn’t fit the description at all. Seemed like bolognese and not meat lasagna. Bread was still cold in the middle. Ordered a latte with my tiramisu and it was COLD- like the coffee cup was also chilled. Didn’t order an iced latte. Most bizarre dining experience of my life. Will never return. Should have tried to get money off the bill but husbands meal was better than mine.

3.5 stars. This was so cute for our anniversary. Incredibly intimate and old, lots of character. Good service. But I would be happy if they did take constructive criticism bc the food wasnt there. The prawn with the burata didn’t taste fresh, seemed over cooked and old. We went on Sunday so maybe it’d been a couple days. The mushroom pasta looked nice but it’s just a lack of flavor. I didn’t feel any characteristics aside from salt. The mussles were too sweet, I’m guessing from tomato. The lasagna was fine but keep in mind it’s $40, which seems high. We had a good time and you are paying for the ambience since alot of things are priced high.
