A favorite stop for many years! I first visited almost a decade ago and have loved them ever since; a must-stop when I’m in the area. Both the restaurant side and market side are great — the crab melt and halibut fish & chips are excellent. I love grabbing some smoked fish or salmon jerky for a snack on the way to Ecola State Park. Service at the market side today was charming and witty, too. Plus, they have the best neon sign! I usually get takeout since there isn’t much seating, but the picnic tables are great on a sunny day.

Seriously, the best fried fish I’ve ever had!

They were very sweet and gave us complimentary samples of chowder since it was our first time. We enjoyed eating outside on the picnic tables.

This restaurant has a reputation for the best fish n chips in town, and it didn’t disappoint. We also heard that they source their seafood within 50 miles for max freshness.

BEST SALMON JERKY Im a native Oregonian, so I have grown up eating salmon, specifically smoked salmon, since I was a little kid …. and Bell Buoy has the BEST smoked salmon I’ve ever tried. Even my own daughter kept eating it and eating it. This is the best salmon jerky on the beach so far.

When we went to seaside on the fourth of July a VERY helpful young man us, he was very patient and explained the difference in salmon. We bought tons and went back for more but they were bought out. We went back this week and bell buoy was our first stop. Unfortunately the man this past week seemed to not want to explain the difference in fish. We felt rushed so we purchased three pieces and left. We’ll be back soon to maybe ask questions to find what we liked.

Great seafood place in Seaside. They close a little early for dinner so be mindful of the time. They got so busy near closing that they had to turn people away. The whole crab and halibut fish and chips were my favorites.

Came first to the seafood Market side…bought Sole to have blackened, it was very fresh and tender with soft mild flaky meat & Steamed Cold Shrimp to have w/ their “Crack” Cocktail Sauce – get the cocktail sauce, they put dill in it! Also got some pickled Shrimp, wonderful flavor like I’ve never had before what I would call Norwegian or Scandinavian style with the brine flavors of bay/coriander/blk pepper/allspice/mustardseed/sweet&salty.

This place is a temple and has been here forever. The freshest and best tasting Dungeness crab anywhere. Excellent red dipping sauce. Great smoked salmon. Yes you can get cheaper crab at Costco, but this is far fresher and therefore better taste and texture.

Amazing food, good prices, great local seafood shack. Food was quick and staff were super nice. We got the halibut and crab melt. Huge chunks of fresh crab.
