Of all the searches that I’ve done for vegan options in the Dover area, somehow this restaurant finally populated in my search results, and I’d been eager to try it ever since. As of right now, the hours are super limited for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, so I’ve suffered with patience since discovering this place exists on a Monday morning… It was worth the wait!!!

My wife and I stopped by Believe it…It’s vegan on Sunday for lunch. My wife decided on the Orange Cauliflower Chik’n, and I had the N’awlins Po’ Boy, and we were not disappointed. Both dishes were spot on. The texture on the Po’ Boy had a good balance of sweet and tangy from the slaw, and the “fish” was perfectly cooked to a golden brown. The Cauliflower dish was just as balanced and tasty. The whole staff was smiling and enjoyed chatting with us about their food. Jenesis has such a passion for vegan food that you can taste it. We cannot wait to go back.

Ummm, ok, wow. We stopped at this restaurant on a long drive between Virginia and NYC and it was a great decision. The food is incredible, and Jenesis is rare talent following her dream of bringing fresh and healthy food to her local community. She’d absolutely have a packed restaurant in NYC, but in this small, historic town, things were quiet on the Sunday afternoon that we stopped in. We had the cauliflower, po boy, potatoes, juice, and chocolate chip cookie. Portions are large and we had lots of leftovers. Definitely check this place out if you’re local or driving through.

We just had the most delicious lunch at Believe It It’s Vegan! I had the “fish” tacos. Everything was really fresh and delicious. The mango salsa, fresh cilantro, avocado. Yum! Chill vibe with great music and adorable decor. The owner and staff were super friendly. Go support this small business. We were just driving through Smyrna and found this gem on Happy Cow.
