This review is for their take out only. Dine in may be a different experience. They prepared the food very quickly and I didn’t have to wait at all. However, nothing else really stood out and their soggy house special fried rice was particularly underwhelming.

I’ve only had take-out from Beijing House so I can’t comment on the dine-in experience. We tried the lunch special, which is $9 for a main dish plus a soup. I got the egg + tomato with rice and egg drop soup. The portion size of the egg and tomato was big, with a hefty serving of rice to go with it. The egg drop soup was ok, I think I’ve had better elsewhere. I look forward to my next experience with Beijing House~

Ok, this place is not your prototypical American / Chinese restaurant. More on the authentic Sichuan / Chengdu style cuisine. Hot Pot, Mapo Tofu, and Red Chilli style food. Also, the are many Asian Patrons inside and that’s always a good sign. If you’re going to compare this place to Flushing or NYC Chinatown, then don’t go here. But for Nassau County, especially on Jericho Turnpike in the heart of Syosset, this place is pretty good. Nice staff, but they could be a little more on top of things. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.

As authentic for Long Island without trecking into Queens or the city. Menus were easy to read with lots of pictures to help guide you. It’s just a little on the pricier side, but that’s comparing to Flushing and Chinatown, plus you’ll save that difference on gas!

Re take out…if you think it’s impossible to screw up wonton soup, try this place’s concoction. The soup was so spicy and salty it was almost inedible! You’ve never tasted wonton soup like this! Two spring rolls were dry and tasteless. I assume in store dining is much better,,,,

Excellent mapo tofu, garlic eggplant, shrimp with cabbage & beef chow fun dishes today! Pretty authentic I should say. My pastor and his wife enjoyed it very much.Service can be a little more sophisticated but hey that may be due partially to language and culture…

Great tendon and tripe appetizer A+++, beef brisket noodle soup is amazing, shrimp radish soup is great, crystal shrimp dumplings were a little doughy but still good, soup dumplings were average, fish in chili oil was A+++, whole fried fish was very good (if you don’t like catfish or carp stay away from the whole fish), double cooked pork belly was good but not what we expected, lo mein was meh and didn’t have much substance aside from noodles. Overall good experience, will definitely go again. Highly recommend: fish in chili oil, tendon and tripe, shrimp radish soup, beef brisket soup.

Love the savory chicken (beware it’s bone in) with glass vermicelli noodles and long mushrooms in a brown stew served in a warming bowl! Pork scallion dumplings were great too, but I think the wrapper is too thick. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

We are regular customer at Beijing House for lunch and like the authenticity of this place. The restaurant was actually very good when it first started. Since beginning of 2017, we have seen the standard dropping and price going up. Today we even have uncooked dumplings with absolutely no apologies from the restaurant. Seem like business as usual after we showed them the raw dumpling. When we asked for the check, the waiter even added the dumpling into the bill like nothing had happened. We finally contested and the waiter took it out from our bill. This is by far unexpected and unacceptable for a restaurant rated well by many including the culinary critics on Long Island.

One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. Staffs are always hospitable and kind. Tasty food and cozy environment, couldn’t ask for more in this area.
