If pizza was considered soul food, beggars pizza would fit the ticket. Perfect crust, sauce, and cheese ratio; we called in a pick up order around noon. It was ready as soon as we got there and was still hot when we got home. Super nice staff that helped me grow my pizza shirt collection. I will definitely be coming back for seconds beyond a shadow of a doubt. As a St. Louis native, I strive to explore pizza across the country and rarely find it necessary to give a shout out. This place deserves one for sure. If you haven’t been here do yourself a favor and stop in.

dining room over run with teen girls from baseball team. really should do better with keeping them in designated area. ruined my family dining experience. pizza was under cooked and i specifically asked for overcooked as the pizza here is always raw on the inside. we wont be back. there are other beggars locations in the area.

It was… just okay. Having been highly recommended and requested by a local with whom we were going to eat, we swung by and picked up a large sausage thin crust. It was nothing to write home about, and it certainly was not what a beggar would be able to comfortably afford.

Getting beggars is like getting domino’s only domino’s actually cooks their pizza all the way. I know gas n wash gets beggars i think they should switch to rosati’s asap. Better ingredients, and the is pizza always cooked to perfection. I have never had a half cooked pizza from rosati’s!

I gave them another shot, I love the New Lenox location and was craving it, but it is just too far. Look what they pass off as deep dish for $30+, there is barely any cheese on it. There is more cheese on a thin crust at any other location. I will go back to taking the extra 40 minutes to drive to the New Lenox one for now on, the only thing laid on thick here is the crust.
