They have been a wonderful lunch stop for me over the years. We recently met with Jodie, Will and Scott and they are such wonderful people. This place has been a staple in the Forty Fort area for decades if you are looking for beer, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I highly recommend checking them out and they offer some great specials on their board.

The Beer Deli has a great reputation, I’ve been going here on and off for years. I had a cheese steak sandwich iced tea and a bag of chips. It was just ok nothing great. Everything was made in a timely manner and served hot. Just wasn’t all that….

I have been eating here for years and have had issues in the past, but what happened today is totally uncalled for. I placed a to go order over the phone. A “Rachael” took my order. She informed me what the specials were and I order one. I waited the suggested 15 minutes and go to the Beer Deli. After waiting in line for 7 other customers, I am told that there is no order. After confirming, She informs me that I had been given inaccurate information and that they do not have the sandwich I ordered. I’m confused, I had to leave my phone number to place the order. Why was I not contacted and informed about the incompetence ? I was then given the most insincere apology I have ever heard. No offer to get me something else, no concern or caring that I have wasted my lunch time thinking I was arriving to pick up and consume my lunch. The OWNERS of this sandwich shop feel that they are untouchable. This is nothing short of disgusting. How do they think they are ? Is there time more important than mine ? Well let it be known that the mistake today initiated actions by me to do my best to make these business owners realize that they have nothing when you start treating your customers unfairly. We stopped there after seeing a doctor right across the street simply because we were starving. We had to order our food at the counter which were a little pricey for what we got. We ordered the cheesesteak n my child the chicken fingers. When we get our food, we were both wondering if we got the child’s portion because the sandwich was so small and there was WAAAY more bun than meat!!! And the fries were covered in pepper. Now don’t get me wrong, I like pepper on some things but I would rather it be MY decision whether I want it or not since I have a health problem that too much pepper can aggravate. And my poor daughter is allergic…causes her throat to burn and sometimes swell. Now I will definitely say that the steak sandwich was Really good! I give credit where credit is due but I think the next time I will head for another place where for a slightly lesser price I can get the same meal with a sandwich that has probably triple the meat and a Real free food bar that has much more on it than tiny cake bits and 2 sad little hot peppers. ☹ Seriously please let people decide if they want pepper or not, had we known, we would have told you no pepper.

Was one of the best around until new management took over. Food and experience has gone downhill each year since. Not to mention I’ve heard of molded meatballs being sold to later in the night customers!!

Now rarely, will I ever review an establishment that I work in. However, when bitter parties take aim and shots at the work I provide, I feel compelled to say, that any day,time or moment anyone would like a tour of the kitchen I maintain I will gladly give one. Even to past employees,their friends and family who act childish and want to lay claims to old food, food with mold on it. Everything I make/provide for our customers gets labeled and dated as it should. If at any moment I believe a food should not be served, I will not serve it. Whether its due to quality,taste,look or anything a long those lines. I take pride in my work, so before continuing with childish ways make sure the person youre doing it against isnt the type to respond.
