A nostalgic diner with a homey feel. They serve all the classics as well some new offerings which I can’t wait to try. The service was spot on and they made you feel welcome. I will definitely enjoy going back and checking out some of the other menu items soon, but for today I got a bowl of oatmeal and it was just how I like it, with texture and chew, not mushy or pasty. Plus being able to control how much sugar and raisins I can add was nice since I try to not eat a lot of sugar.

In the pics is the ravioli carbonara with added shrimp and a pancake that was filled with chocolate chips. The food was heavenly. My friend got a loaded hashbrown that looked so good.

New operation getting off the ground and doing it well. The staff were as quick and attentive as they could be, there just needs to be more of them.

Stopped to try a new spot for lunch as wife said reviews looked good, especially for their Club Sandwich, which is a favorite of ours.

Went for lunch with my mom. We were seated quickly, but everything else took way too long. We got there just before noon and didn’t get our food until about one. Service was next to nonexistent. Had to wave down different waitresses than the one that originally was helping us. Drinks did not get refilled, was not checked on about the quality of food. Service was terrible enough to not even consider a tip, which is highly abnormal for me because 20% is my standard. Food was also terrible. Onions rings were under cooked, chicken was over cooked and bland. Not worth the money yet. I’ll try again in a couple months after things have been worked on, but as of now, I will not be returning.

A great and cozy home diner! As a relatively new resident of Montesano, it’s nice having multiple diners in town to try out. The coffee is good, and the breakfast is utterly divine (get the pancakes and thank me later, or get the biscuits and gravy, dump some black pepper on it and enjoy).

Fantastic restaurant that just reopened in the heart of Monte. Highly recommend. Delicious food and very friendly people.

We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated, even though there were several empty tables, but they didn’t have enough people to bus them. My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich and fries. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo. The Reuben was pretty good. The fries were very mediocre. After waiting for 20 minutes after ordering, I was told that they were out of shrimp and suggested the ravioli carbonara instead. After a full 45 minutes our food came and there was a single speck of bacon in my carbonara. I asked what was going on, where was my bacon and was told they were also out of bacon. The dish was barely edible. The staff was very nice and friendly, but they clearly are not quite ready to be operating at full capacity. They did offer me my dinner for free. Most other diners were also waiting for at least 45 minutes for their food, and everybody seemed a little irritable. I wish the owners luck in the future to get their stuff together, because I think this place has promise.

Did not accept credit cards when we stopped by. No problem, I understand they just recently opened and it was small town. No problem paying cash. Service was so slow. Took 45 min for food to come. Did not provide any silverware and had to constantly ask for napkins and utensils. Ordered egg benedicts and it was brunt. Vibe was really negative when we entered..sorry I came with my 2 yr old son. Apparently they like to stare when you walk in with kids. Hopefully they’ll learn and since they recently reopened they can can act together in future. Otherwise menu did look delicious and theme is cute.

Biscuits were dry the cook was not wearing gloves when cooking and made trips to the freezer and back handing several door knobs then using bare hands to dip French toast without washing hands first after touching various door handles and boxes the restaurant was clean and server was polite and great
