Had a full-sized beef sandwich and it was tasty, but not filling. Fries were okay and greasy as expected. The old Beef Shack around here several years ago had some great stuff, but now it feels a little lacking. Great service and free space within the restaurant, yet rough car parking space outside.

I travel into St Charles for work and this was the first time I tried Beef Shack. I had the cheese Beef on Garlic bread (no peppers) and an order of fries. Food was fantastic. I dare say it may be better than Portillos. Nice amount of cheese, the Beef is very tender and juicy. Garlic bread bun is very good, nice touch. The fries are very good too, and there’s a lot of them (think Five Guys fries and the extra amount they give you). I will definitely be back.

Very nice clean new re-opening and the staff is very friendly. The beef was great I tried the cheesy beef with a side of gravy and a side of hot peppers super tasty and delicious beef! Better than Buona and its competing with portillos forsure honestly might be a tad bit better than portillos

Food was solid. Classic beef with the garlic bread bun was delicious. The cheeseburger was good. But the fries… perfect! I grew up going to a hot dog joint that had fresh cut fries and you just can’t beat them. The shack sauce is fantastic. We had a similar sauce in college at a joint on campus and haven’t found it anywhere. We’d be back just for the sauce! Also, chocolate milk shake was perfect, exactly the right amount of chocolate. We got it to go and it all lasted well until we got home.

Great quick beef. The food is very good. The store is newer and very clean. The service was quick and good. They have a few different beef options and sizes. It’s a must to add cheese to the sandwich, so good. I got the mini and it was plenty. They do have indoor seating. Also a drive through.

Love the cheesy garlic beef with ‘dipping jus’. Friendly and helpful staff. Atmosphere is typical fast food joint. Could do a more conscientious job of cleaning table tops and chairs. Parking and maneuvering around the lot could be dicey, but overall, I keep going back for more and someday may try other things on the menu!
