My 1st visit. Staff was friendly. Waited for 35 minutes to get order. Unfortunately the food was horrible. I paid $30.00 for two meals, cornbread, and desserts. The food was not good tasting, the sweet potato pie was the worst. The cornbread was missing ingredients and made it taste like it wasn’t done. The mac and cheese taste like it was from a can of cheese, the sweet potato pie was flat and dry. I can’t eat this and I still have to find something for dinner.

I am a frequent flyer at B&M Barbeque (or simply B&M’s) in Cleveland and now in Akron. I am so glad they opened back up here in Akron. I will be honest I came with the same high expectations but was let down some what, not a lot, just a tad bit. I ordered a center rib sandwich with light sauce on it. The ribs were juicy but slightly burnt and the sauce were barely touched with sauce as if I never mentioned it all. This let down will not deter me from not coming back, hell I wish they would sign up for Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc. Nevertheless, I most definitely will return there no matter what. I am, and always will be a dedicated and devout customer of B&M Barbeque.

I first started going to B&M’s BBQ when I lived in Cleveland. It was awesome back then. That was more than 20 years ago. My family and I went to this one in Akron more than a year ago and we were disappointed. We decided to give it another try. It was as awesome as Cleveland was. Everyone was very happy with their meal. We will definitely be back.

This was me and my boyfriend’s very first time coming here. He went in and ordered and got the food because it was a 10 min wait. I ordered 3 whole wings and fries and he ordered rib tips and a side of macaroni and cheese. Both meals came to 13 dollars. The wings were very small and the food wasn’t fresh. The rib tips were the worst. Chewy and hard and alot more sauce then the actual tips. It was so much sauce my boyfriend tilted the container to pull it out the bag and sauce dropped all over his clothes. The lady was also rude and gave him a hard time about a ticket number. I support black businesses but I won’t be coming back here. I can’t stand people that have jobs working with the public and got the nerve to have a nasty attitude.

That bbq combo of beef rib tips is on point. The sauce was so good I spilled some on both myself and the car by accident. The cornbread is fire and the mac n cheese is very nice. The lady who made it did her thing. Me and my sister was impressed and we’re from Pittsburgh and it was our 1st time and came back there again b4 she moved up there. So keep up the good work and I plan on visiting again when I visit her for some good eats.

They served me rancid chicken wings. The moment I started to pull the meat off the bone that rotted smell made me gag. I asked for a refund and of course the hood policy is always no cash refund. The woman in the store gave me a spill about the food distributor forgetting to bring whole wings with their delivery and that the owner went out to purchase wings. Meanwhile, whomever the cook is decided to fry me up a hot crispy batch of slimey rancid wings. No one thought to say, “we don’t have wings at the moment” when I called to order. Instead they took my money with all of this back story, refused a refund and then offered to make me some more. Ok, really? Like I would eat anything else prepared by your establishment. Just one rotted wing spoils the bunch…throw the whole batch away. So my $7 donation to B & M BBQ will be a one-time ever contribution. Eat at your own risk.

Not impressed honestly. The mac and cheese is nasty and store brought. The barbeque sauce is great and addictive! I dip my fries in them. I don’t think the food is tasty enough for the price they charge. I will only buy sauce from them.

Place not how it use to be when it was open before. Food is very salty I had a bad headache after eating my food . Not to mention I watched 3 people come back complaining about there food while there . Not to mention I paid a pretty high price for the food which is not worth it. Your better off going to la soul restaurant.

Food was tasty but drenched in sauce so fries were just mush. Ribs were tough but chicken was the bomb. Very musterdy relishy potato salad. Mac was pretty nice with a sharp cheesy bite to it.

Fried chicken was extremely burned .It wasn’t edible. $1 upcharge for side dishes is more expensive than every other “soul food ” restaurant in Akron. 3 different people told me that hated the ribs. I will NEVER buy anything from there again
