we did not have a very good experience here tonight at all…. we had never been here, but we had friends recommend it to us. i called around noon to see if we needed reservations, the owner lady answered and said “we didn’t need reservations but she wanted to unform us that being as we are going to be driving a ways we better show up between 4pm and 6pm or else we were going to be disappointed and may not even get served.. tonight is the last night of steaks” …. we made the trip and walked in the door at 4:20pm. when we walked in the owner lady was standing there and we told her there was 2 of us. she asked if we had a reservation???? we said no then she rudely told us that “we would have to set at the bar because they were about to bust at the seems at any time”… (we sat at a little corner side of the bar with little room, and there were empty tables around when we got there and empty tables when we left….) we made our order then while sitting there, i watched the bartender mix drinks for someone… then after he sent the drinks he poured the ice from the mixing cups in a glass and he drank what drink he could get out of it… he told the owner lady.. “i know its watered down but no need to waste alcohol”….. first our bread came out, and it was very good. then our salads, and it was very good. then our steaks come out, and both of us were completely disappointed in the steaks… maybe if we were generous they would have been a 2 out of 10….. the worse part about them was there was no flavor at all and very tough…. after we got done the bartender gave us a to go box and the bill, he told me “just take that up front to mom and she will take care of it…” my wife had to use the restroom so i sat there a few minutes waiting for her, then the next thing i know the bartender walked by and rudely grabbed the bill and my credit card i had laying by it and took off up front.. (making it most apparent that i wasn’t welcome to set there any longer…..) he brought it back, and we left…. very disappointed in our experience… disappointed in our steaks…i absolutely do not recommend this place after our experience here..

What a great place! Way off the beaten track but worth the trip. Great decor with s touch of humor. Outdoor seating overlooking the lake. Fresh perfect salad to start. Best fried shrimp in years; big and tender with perfect light breading. Same for catfish with good fries. All food cooked to order so piping hot. And…grest friendly service. Will be back. Highly recommended!!

We absolutely enjoyed this place! I had the salmon and he had the pork chops. It was all delicious. The atmosphere was great and the service was too. I hate that they will be closing for the season soon. The only drawback is the muddy rough road but it was worth it!

Ordered the pork chop meal, with zucchini, and a caesars salad, we always make reservations, they are only open on Friday and Saturday nights, so when we get a chance, we always pay them a visit, it’s a casual dining experience, they also serve a homemade loaf of bread, it’s a little pricey, but well worth the money

Awesome place off the beaten path. Perfection takes patience. I had the hamburger steak and the gf had the ribeye. Both were cooked how we ordered. The staff, our waitress the whole setting is worth it. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

The food was good as always but the waitress could not have been any more rude. Multiple times she made hateful comments to our party. It’s terrible that her disrespectful attitude took away from an enjoyable dinner.

Great service and friendly people. My Ribeye was thick, juicy and full of flavor. To say it was delicious is an understatement. Appetizers were on point, beer was ice cold. Money well spent!

I love out of the way restaurants. But we were treated like 2nd class. We booked ahead for a good seat and was placed by the bathroom. Rock Bridge was much nicer.

This place is great!! It seems like cheating to catch fish out of a fee pond, but these fish are BIG! They will clean them for a little extra, and the restaurant is very good. Take a variety of bait since it is hard to know what they will be biting on. They have nice live baskets so youu can keep the fish alive until they are cleaned. Plan on having dinner at the restaurant.
