We just moved to Arvada in April so we’re hunting for our favorite spots. This was our (family of 4) first visit to Beau Jo’s. My daughter and I ordered sandwiches that were delicious but they don’t picture well because it just looks like a bunch of bread though there’s plenty in between. My husband had the adult Mac and Cheese with 3 toppings and my son had a small Mother Load pizza. All delicious! We had a tiny issue with one of our meals and they bent over backwards to correct it. We will absolutely go back. Great experience!

Awesome place for pizza. Very unique with many different types of pies. They put honey out for you to add to the crust which is cool. And it tastes great. The pizza was fresh and the crust was very good. Was very thick yet it had a crispy crunch. The garlic bread was also very good. Highly recommend visiting here when your nearby.

Another 1st time for me and my son…..can you believe I am a native and NEVER knew we had Colorado style ??? It’s true so we tried it…we built our own with pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, onion and black olives….yes I know not very risky…when you grow up eating delivery, you go with what you have been taught.

Best nachos I’ve ever had! All the toppings tasted fresh, and the jalapeños weren’t that spicy. The chips used tasted very homemade and had a nice flavor to it. The pizza is not bad, but I’ve had better pizza from other places. The server was very friendly and attentive.

I have been going to Beau Jo’s for 30 years. Idaho springs is the best location. This looks seems to be hit or miss. Boulder was OK. Evergreen is pretty cool. Steamboat seems like it should be a subway. The pizza was overcooked, so the crust was a little too crunchy. Normally I wouldn’t care too much, but when you are putting down $60+ for a pizza it would be night for it to be right. Staff was OK. Hopefully next time I come back it will be a little better.

I want to start off by saying that this is usually my go-to spot for pizza when in the Golden/ Arvada area. However, my last visit was less than great. I ordered 6 Buffalo wings to try (never had them) and a margherita pizza. The wings were not impressive. I had ordered them extra crispy, and they were soggy with sauce. The wings also tasted like they came from Sonic. They were served on tortilla chips that were also pretty stale. The pizza came out nice and hot and would have been awesome, except it didn’t have the olive oil and garlic sauce. The pizza was ok, but it was just a kind of glorified cheese bread without the sauce. I would also like to have more than 1 slice of tomato on the pizza as well. Overall, I was not impressed with this trip to get food. I would rate it lower, but my past experiences are telling me this must have been a one-time mistake. Hopefully, it will be better in the future.
