Went here for trivia night and it was ROUGH. It was multiple choice (no other place I know does this), people were on their phones cheating (you didn’t have to since most of the questions were easy), it was dreadfully slow (I know you want to sell drinks but come on), and the poor hosts were not cut out for the job. Some manager threw them under the bus because they were not prepared and had a difficult time pronouncing many words. The customers had to ask for spellings multiple times, yikes. Easily avoided with any preparation/practice.

Most of the food here was absolutely delicious. The one food item that was just okay was the cheese grits. The food portions are ample and worth the price. Most of us took home to go boxes. The staff was friendly and it had a nice atmosphere. There is limited seating, so peak times may be a challenge. Outdoor seating is an option. There are multiple TVs here.

What an incredible place. This was my 2nd time there, and it was just as good as the first! The food was delicious, and it served quickly, fresh & hot. Very good flavor profiles and textures were right on. Foodies like myself will really enjoy Bears Tavern & Tap.

Don’t do trivia here. Trivia was run by the college-aged, giggling waitstaff who mispronounced every single word. Trivia questions were multiple choice for some reason and every table was on their phones the whole time so they were probably cheating. It was a disorganized, frustrating mess.

let’s just start by saying I think this place has great potential but the service was horrible and not just the server she was trying her best im guessing she was new wich happens not a big deal , there was 6 of us 3 of our food came out cold had to ask to put in microwave to heat up found some kind of plastic in one of our food one of my friends waited 25 min just to get her food , another one of my friends didn’t like the cold chorizo so asked to switch it out with a chicken sandwich and i’m attaching a photo to show you what happened with that ,that’s when we asked for a manager he came over and said like two words and walked away took off 20% off of all our bills and that’s the last we saw of him don’t get me wrong that was nice of him but when I tell you this was almost the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at a restaurant , also if you do decide to dine here make sure you use the bathroom before you go because the bathrooms are worse than club bathrooms it’s absolutely horrific in there !. hope this place can make some changes.

Discriminate against brown people. Stay away!!! It appears they only tend to young Caucasian people. I was ignored, walked on by. Arrived at 9:40 pm and asked several times to please put in my order. Was given a menu, sat outside, waitress aware. And never served me. Not even an ice water or an acknowledgement (we will be right with you for example) She just walked by me outside and didn’t take my order. I finally went inside around 10 PM, after nobody bothered taking my order, just for them to tell me the kitchen was closed. But yet they had a tray with Tacos right in front of me, being carried to a customer. Talking about adding insult to injury. If you are young and Caucasian, you will get great service. However, if you are brown and mature stay away. I smell prejudism. I have never been treated this bad, and I’m a regular Foodie.

Swanky meets college bar. Best brunch in the area that includes a bottle mimosa option. Fantastic outside seating area, bloody marys are spicy and the avocado toast was delicious! Hidden little Tampa spot that had football on and also a nice bourbon selection! The service was fantastic and the vibe is so fun!
