Perfect spot to stop for lunch after going to the market. Prices were reasonable, and the food was tasty. We got the pulled pork, smoked corn, and mac n’ cheese. The mac was rich and delicious, corn was juicy and sweet. Meat was a touch on the dry side, but I prefer it that way. I would 100% recommend having a nice lunch outside at this little stop off.

This was our second time here. It’s crazy good. Last time we ordered pulled pork and brisket. This time we went with turkey and ribs. All were tender and flavorful with that awesome smokiness. We had Mac and cheese both times because the consistency is perfect (flavor could be stronger, we add salt and pepper). We also picked up some homemade bbq sauce to take home. If you’re in the area and Bear Creek is open, it’s a must!!!

All I can say is… Jalapeño Poppers. When you bite into one…wow…. full mouth flavor explosion. Smoked corn was okay. The pulled pork sandwich was very tasty, just a little dry. I give kudos to the young man who helped us… he was tried but gave A1 customer service.

The meat was cold, dry, and didn’t have much flavor. The beans were hot but I wouldn’t get them again. I tried their Macn cheese but they were bland. Customer service was good but I came for some good BBQ.

Oh man. First time here on a whim. Glad I stopped by. The staff , very friendly, the cost is great. The brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage , amazing! . The smoked chicken also good. The sides are fantastic. A must. See yall soon.

I used to eat here on a regular when I stayed in Desoto, so while visiting I decided to stop by for ol times, food definitely has changed and not in a good way sadly. The cake was old, needed to be donated and not sold. Very disappointing. I was wondering why they had a signed that said no refunds. I would have drove my food back. I gave it to the homeless instead

This is a nice little BBQ pit right across from Stahlman’s at Bear Creek. We ordered brisket, sausage and chicken to take home on Saturday afternoon 2-26-22. The two young men manning the pit were friendly, courteous and readied our take out meat order quickly. Really enjoyed all of the meats, especially the jalapeno sausage. Not inexpensive, but we certainly realize the cost of meats today. Would certainly recommend the place.

Had high hopes for this cute little place on the way to the lake. Sadly, the brisket was flavorless, and now on record for some of the worst I’ve had. The potato salad was alright. Left hungry because I asked for a refund on the overpriced plate. The young dude working seemed like he hates his job, and couldn’t have looked more miserable. The shop on the same property has some cool items though!
