A few of us drove down to Bear Creek on our motorcycles to enjoy some bbq. My husband and I have eaten there a few years back when they were located on Point Lookout Road. We walked in and the place was clean and smelled wonderful. They have quite a few items on their menu. We got the pulled pork and the minced pork sandwiches. They give you plenty of meat, I had to eat the majority of it with a fork (mind you this does not bother me). I greatly enjoyed my meal, as did my husband and the other riders that were with us. The only drawback is no inside dining and they only take cash. There were 3 picnic tables out back, no umbrellas and they were accompanied by a trash can. We do plan on going there to eat, but we will wait when it is cooler outside.

Cash only with an ATM conveniently located inside. Yeah….trying to rip people off much? Given the ATM works, there is internet which means they could easily add a Square terminal or credit card machine. The food might be good, but I don’t plan on returning.

They only accept cash I guess for some shady tax purposes, their ATM was down I kept telling the lady that worked there. She treated me as if I didn’t have the money, went next door to the gas station their ATM worked. Then got home to realize my half pound of “smoked sliced turkey” was actually lunch meat. Smelly, oscar Meyer, slimy lunch meat. So disappointed. Will never give them my business again.

We tried their food truck at a local college outdoor event and thought it was great. We’ve since come to this take out location 3 times and things were bland and dry. Very disappointing.

Brisket and BBQ Chicken are outstanding, ribs sometimes tend to be slightly on the dry side but very good if you like them drenched in sauce like their pulled pork is. Check out the fresh soup specials (love the Butterbean) and lunch special of the day for a great value. Also the frito pie is a delicious “appetizer”. All around enjoyable place for take out but would be great to have a sit down area, even if it were just some picnic tables out back or on the side.

It is hands down the best place for bbq! There is not a bad thing on the menu! It’s clean the service is top notch! If you are within a 100mile radius you must make the trip!
