Amazing sandwiches just behind the main downtown street, and overlooking the river. Highly recommended to take just half a sandwich as they are huge. Instead use the rest of your sandwich money on a pint of beer from one of the many great breweries on tap. And don’t forget the weekly pint specials are very inexpensive. Have (huge) salads too for the gluten free person in your party.

I got “the sunburn” my husband got the “surfin’ bird” as a lettuce wrap (staff said ANY sandwich can be made into a lettuce wrap!). Wasn’t able to get photos because I took my first bite and couldn’t stop. Best sandwich I have had in recent memory! I was impressed with my husband’s lettuce wrap it had a hearty amount of fresh crunchy iceberg lettuce around it and held together well! We will most definitely be back with our three year old to check out the kids menu! I highly recommend beach hut deli.

Apparently, if you order online, don’t expect your food any quicker. I arrived 20 minutes into the 30 min wait. I checked in and was told 10 more mins. So I sat down to wait. People who walked in behind me and placed their order then (now 20 mins after I placed mine), received their food before me. Too bad – enjoy the food but the service is a determining factor in whether I return and this experience, along with the attitude when I asked about it, will make me think twice before returning.

Delicious sandwiches, fresh ingredients and friendly people. A great atmosphere downtown and dog friendly as well. There’s plenty of meat on the sandwiches and the bread is soft and delicious. A great local place for some lunch and sandwiches.

Spent a beautiful day in Bend with my husband who wanted to visit Beach Hut deli, he hasn’t eaten at one since California. Looking at the menu, food seemed pretty pricey for a sandwich shop, but we ordered anyway. I got a turkey Provolone without bread, and my husband got a pastrami and pepper jack, with toasted bread, heated meat and melty cheese. He also got their homemade (I’m assuming) potato salad. Everything was truly delicious, but the staff made it a real 5 star experience. They were amazing, friendly, quick, and went above and beyond to give us a great meal out. We will definitely be visiting again!

Officially deeming the BHD as an elite sandwich shop. Don’t second guess your decision to go here.

Tried this place based on reviews but felt it didn’t live up to the price of expectation. We had both a salad and sandwich. Unimpressed with both the taste and quality of ingredients.

The sandwiches were pretty fantastic. I had a spicy chicken one and my daughter had the hogie. Both were great. Need lots of napkins but worth every messy drop. Love the beach theme especially inthe summer. Will return for certain.

This place has really good sandwiches. It was recommended by the bartender at one of the close breweries since they weren’t serving food due to staffing and I’m glad he recommended it. Much better than your average sub sandwich shop.
