In town for a show yesterday and popped in for lunch. Ate at the table outside overlooking the river. There is also a park across the way with picnic tables. Place was spotless, service was friendly and food was fantastic. The jerk chicken/sauce was rich and flavorful with a nice bite, but not too spicy. On the side we had tasty coconut rice and beans and the best collards ever, light, fresh and not overcooked. Fried plantains were cooked perfectly – sweet and caramelized on the outside. Spicy Jamaican beef patty was a solid version of a classic. Will return as often as I can

First time trying BB’s Hot Spot, when we arrived the aromas greeted us from the street. The interior, although small was very clean. We each had the large Jerk Chicken with cabbage and collards greens for sides. The chicken had ample sauce and the spices were perfect, not too hot. The included cabbage and collard green sides were each tasty. All of these flavors brought us back to the Caribbean. We look forward to returning to this restaurant and trying other menu items!

The best oxtails i have eaten in Springfield remains the best. After trying BB’s i can say the best is still in Springfield. It was so much gravy i couldn’t taste the oxtail or the rice. The Collards tasted like it had allspice which I thought made the greens taste funny and not in a good way.

The food is real good . Really expensive though if you order through door dash . And the portions could be better for the price u pay . That said if u order direct it’s a lot cheaper just a pain to drive to . I would order from this place again . Jerk chicken and cocoa rice was excellent !

Oxtail stew on coconut rice was long cooked and delectable; mac and cheese cheesy with crunchy baked top; collards well done with allspice and bite. Super good, excellent service. Sorrel and ginger beer a treat.

The takeout portions were very small, jerk chicken had two tiny thighs. Food had ok flavor nothing great. I may have to try dine in and see if it is any better.

Highly recommend trying this spot out! The rice, ribs, mac and cheese, spicy beef patties, and cabbage were all delicious. My boyfriend and I stopped here after work on a whim and are so glad we gave it a shot! Parking is limited, but was not really a problem for us
