The best BBQ in downtown Dallas. This son and dad shop serves the juiciest, peppery brisket with the just-right, beans not too sweet, not too salty. And the sauce…my lawd the sauce.

The best BBQ we’ve had in a long time. Great little family owned restaurant. They were super inviting and friendly & MORE than accommodating. The food was amazing and we will definitely be back!

The experiences I had at this restaurant were the highlight of my time in Dallas, and may be the most positive I’ve had at any restaurant. The staff are friendly, passionate and attentive, and went above and beyond to showcase their amazing food for a couple of tourists in need of some Texas barbecue. In my first visit I tried the baked potato with turkey, which was delicious and filling, came out super quickly and had me leaving full and happy. We were surprised and delighted when we were offered to try some of the brisket and beef sausage as well, and after having a taste knew we would have to come back for more. The sides of potato salad, baked beans, jalapeño poppers and mac and cheese were each unique from any other I’ve had, and it is clear that every item on the menu has had a lot of thought and love put into making it the best possible. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is able to spend some time in central Dallas, the food, service and atmosphere were each top notch and created a really wonderful and memorable visit.

Only went in to use the bathroom and they had a sign that said “customers only” they still let me use it without purchase and i ended up buying some mac and cheese as payment for letting me use the restroom. THAT MAC AND CHEESE IS FROM THE GODS. STRAIGHT SOUL COOKED WITH FLAVOR AND LOVE. gotta try the baked potato next time. best atmosphere.

Maaaaannnn when I tell you I stripped this turkey leg down to the bone I mean it. The meat was so tender and juicy. I couldn’t put the leg down.

walked into BBQ DNA on tuesday just to check the place out. Ended up having enough delicious food to eat for lunch and take home. Believe me when I say RUN don’t walk to this family run restaurant.

Worst place to go! Save your time and money! The waiters are really rude and disrespectful. I went there as soon as open the door they yelled at me to get out. How can you treat a customer like this? There was no sign that it was closed and the google showed it was open. If even it was closed, you need to treat your customer with respect and curtesy and not yell at them to get out. Well I went out and went to support an India restaurant across the street. You guys need to do better.Your response just show that you don’t even know what a customer is and reviews are for you to improve your services but keep doing what you are doing as the last laugh is always the better.
