This was my first time visiting the truck. I ordered the gumbo and went back to my car because I wanted to take it home to my husband. I tasted it before leaving and was so impressed that I went back and got the shrimp tacos for myself. They were super yummy. For dessert, I had some beignets. They were little pillows of sweet heaven! I definitely recommend this place.

I’ve gotta go back! I visited today for lunch and ordered the Shrimp Tacos and Beignets. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the fresh veggies on the taco, a perfect amount to compliment the flavor of the shrimp without overpowering it. And the shrimp was flavored and cooked to perfection. The Beignets were cooked a tad more than I expected but still delicious and soft of the inside.

Walking my way down to the Columbia park. Spotted them in the Columbia center malls parking lot. I realized I had forgotten to eat . So I walked up and waited just a moment. One guy greeted me. Said it would be a moment. As it was. Then told me when ready to walk up to the window and order. So I did. They were out of the berger I wanted. So I settled for the sausage one. SORRY DON’T REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE FOOD. Gave cash, they do except card. It was only 4 maybe 5 minutes and food was ready and bagged. He brought it out and Politely handed me the bag and told me to have a good day. As I did. Food was awesome. I’ll let the pics do the rest.

Po boy was too salty but it could have been the pickles. It was ok but I wasn’t blown away. Shrimp and grits were good but the grits were way too thick. Fun to try once but not phenomenal. Sorry guys. ‍♀️

I wanna do 4 star but I heard the sandwiches are bland.. I love the shrimp and grits the shrimp taco is ok. Fried pickles were perfect the first time the 2nd time I got them the look like the were fried in old oil…

Tried this place for the first time tonight and understand now why my wife was eager to return. Their shrimp tacos were the best I’ve ever had. We tried a new bacon/shrimp wrap they were offering that was also great, and their house potato chips didn’t disappoint. Only reason they didn’t reach 5 stars is they seem to often run out of certain popular items and sometimes have to close up early. But overall, an excellent place to order!

I’ve been to this food truck several times now, and enjoyed my meals each time. The po-boy sandwiches are tasty, as is the gumbo (and I appreciate the gumbo not having shellfish in it…), although I was wishing for a few more bites of sausage -yum! The seasoned potato chips are a nice treat as well.

I got the fried chicken po boy with 0 expectations. While I was waiting all I smelled was fish (i hate fishy smells and tastes) so i was a little pessimistic. The wait was only about 4 minutes and the service was great. I tried the po boy when I got home and it was so good i had to cut it up and share it with the people at my house and they were amazed! Very well seasoned with lots of salt. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had to be honest

Finally a good place to get true Cajun food. I had the shrimp po boy, red beans and rice, gumbo and chips. The po boy was excellent, just like I had when I lived in New Orleans. Gumbo was great, would love to see shrimp gumbo as a choice. Chips were good, red beans and rice had good flavor was just a little thicker than I’m used to. Might’ve been due to close to closing time. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The first time I got the chicken po boy it was amazing! The flavor was on point and the chicken was juicy and tender. So, of course my friend who is a foodie came up and wanted to try something new so I took him to Bayou Some Cajun only to be disappointed. I got the chicken po boy again but this time the chicken was old and not very appetizing. My friend got the gumbo which had a nice kick to it but the sausage and overall broth was very bland. Lastly we ordered the donuts only to be missing two of them and if they were good we would have been okay with it but they tasted mediocre and lacked authenticity. I really hope next time I go back it’s a lot better.
