This restaurant is doing what has been missing from mainstream affordable American cuisine: authentic food, friendly service, and affordable pricing. This picture is their shrimp and fish plate with dirty rice, house sauce and tartar sauce. The restaurant chef actually came out and conversed with the customers about the food. He mentioned he was thinking of bringing blue crab back with him from Louisiana to feature on the menu. Top notch customer service.

The portions are generous! My Daughter ordered the popcorn shrimp kids meal and I ordered the jumbo shrimp platter both with mac & cheese and we had identical meals, same amount of food in both containers except her meal was about $10 cheaper than my meal. Get the kids meal next time!

In DeSoto & ordered thru door dash & man was it worth it. Pictured is the fish & shrimp platter w/ dirty rice. Also 2 medium sides of green beans (cooked with bacon fyi for non pork eaters) and mac n’cheese & add on of boudin (yes I’m greedy hence the name ). Let me tell you, food seasoned just right, especially because I have hypertension. Nothing was too salty. 10 stars for that As you can see fish & shrimp was fried to such perfection it’ll make ya mama jealous!! Most definitely #chubbytruckerapproved

I tried out by you flavors after a few weeks of opening. I was actually sad that regio closed down but I was excited because Cajun is my favorite type of food. I live only 5 minutes away from the place so I was anticipating of having a spot close to me that created delicious Cajun food. I ordered the red beans and rice. In my opinion the dish could use a little more seasoning. However this will be great for my diabetic grandmother. I gave two stars because three for me is average and this is just below average. I did not try anything else as this dish was an introductory to the rest of the menu in regards to how it would possibly taste. I would like to in fact see bayou flavors grow and possibly add daiquiris to their menu as well.

Wonderful food. Great home cooking flavors. I’d recommend this place to anyone that enjoys good shrimp and fish. The fried shrimp is fabulous, tastes fresh and not overloaded with batter. Green beans and red beans and rice are the best I have had at any restaurant. The owners are extremely nice and thoughtful. Try it, I think you will enjoy it if you like southern Louisiana cooking at its finest.

We shared the fish and shrimp platter and had plenty left over to take home for snacks! And for that much food the price was very reasonable. It was very freshly cooked, and flavorful. Not too spicy for me, just enough to enjoy the flavor. Only drawback was that they don’t have their tea and soft drink station going yet, so canned beverages were the only option. Otherwise, a pleasant experience with good food and lovely people who own it. They were very nice, came out to the table to make sure we were happy. Best wishes for lots of success!

I pray to God, your business has a lasting presence in Red Oak, TX. I ordered they Bayou platter, “DAYUM” it was so good. My platter was piping hot with a ton of flavor. The Onion Rings were delicious, your house sauce is the bomb; Gumbo had zesty seasoning; Red Bean and Rice had a lot sausage that was reminiscent of the Bayou. Thank you making us feel like family.

Great fresh food!!! Large portions. We had fried shrimp and a shrimp po-boy. It was prepares fresh and hot. The po-boy bread was soft and delicious. The sides were also homemade: red beans and rice and green beans were super yummy. Hush puppies were also great! Service was friendly and helpful. Give them a try!

We ordered the fish and the shrimp PoBoys with dirty rice and hush puppies. Service was great. Food was great— More than we could eat! The owners/managers/cooks came to check on us and were super friendly. Skip the chain restaurants and support the dreams of local business owners. Enjoyed our experience.
