This place was delicious. I didn’t even realize it had opened, but so glad it was. We tried the boudin as an appetizer which was perfectly crisp on the outside yet soft and juicy on the inside. The pasta was good too but the real star was the shrimp po boy. Loaded with superbly cooked shrimp (10 pieces!) with perfect breading on a delicious roll. Give this place a shot, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Found this little hidden gem on Main St in Stillwater…What an unexpected surprise, red beans are delicious better than some places back home ,you can taste the smokiness in every bite, chicken gumbo was delicious, they didn’t have a seafood (perhaps they should)… Boudin balls fried just right , Shrimp & Catfish were on point… Owner is from Baton Rouge, so he knows a lil about cooking good food !!!

I recently had the opportunity to try the Louisiana style kitchen that recently opened in town. The staff was friendly and management genuinely cared about the atmosphere and product they are selling. This reflected in the quality of the furniture and the presentation and taste of the food. I opted for the Po’Boy with shrimp. I didn’t want French fries so the server offered a small bowl of gumbo. Both foods were full of flavor and satisfied my somewhat experienced pallette. Having recently spent Mardi Gras in New Orleans, I’d say Stillwater, OK finally has a welcomed new experience that reflects the tastes of Louisiana.

The place has an amazing environment and GREAT customer service. But there’s a hang up. Yes, the food is fresh and has the potential! But it lacks flavor. I got the shrimp Po Boy sandwich and the wife got the salad that had shrimp on top of fried green tomatoes. The portions were great, the presentation caught the eye BUT the taste buds were disappointed. The sandwich was dry and the flavor was no where to be found. I will give this place another try, but not expecting greatness.

So, after a rough day at work my family and I decided to try this place on its second week open. I’m not really a fan of spicy food, even mildly so, so there was a bit of an adjustment for me with the menu here. That being said, the overall dining experience was exceptional, with the decor, the music, and the aromas defiantly setting the mood. Our server was a wonderful young lady who took the time to explain some of the menu selections and answer some ingredient questions for us which was quite helpful.

I went there on my birthday with some friends and it was great! Catfish as an appetizer, I had some chicken pasta(sorry I can’t remember the name) the chicken was amazing but the pasta was a little bland. Thankfully they had all kinds of sauces and some spices to change that if you needed. Finally we all had dessert. The giant browny was amazing and we will definitely be back again!

We came here for our 5 year anniversary. The atmosphere is great, the service not so much. It started out great, we ordered the stuffed jalapenos and green tomatoes. My wife and I both ordered the ahi tuna, both of our tunas were over cooked. When we asked our waitress (Jennifer) about it, she just looked at them said yes they are overcooked and walked away. Didn’t ask what she could do. Horrible service! I asked for a manager and was told no one was available.

Had a fabulous lunch. I ordered the Poorboy sandwich with shrimp, coleslaw, and fries. Huge meal well prepared, and was a great value, and freshly prepared too. My lunch companion orderd a shrimp salad which was very tasty. Lunch was great. I cant wait to try dinner!

Just ate lunch here and it was fantastic!! Service was quick and friendly. The Boudin Balls are a must try! I split two entrees with a friend (Pasta Monica and Catfish Acadiana) and both were amazing and we had plenty of leftovers. Will come again!
