I loved it here. Will be back. My first Korean BBQ I’ve ever been too and I am so glad it was. It was not overwhelming at all. The servers were so kind and very informative.

I’m so happy Milwaukee finally has an all you can eat Korean BBQ! I came here with my sisters because we just had to try it out! The atmosphere, service, and food were outstanding! You pay $40 all you can eat meat, and let me say — it did not disappoint and definitely worth the price. They served side dishes with the meals and you are able to ask for more if you want. Our servers, Kimmy & Tina, were very attentive and provided excellent service throughout our time there. I will definitely come back here now that I will not be needing to drive all the way to Illinois for Korean bbq. I can’t recommend this place enough, def a must try!

We went right after open 3pm, Wednesday including my 2 year old. Service was quick and servers were friendly. Everything we wanted was available at that time. The food and ingredients were fresh. We never had to wait long for the 3 meats to be replaced. (Only 3 meats can be chosen per table at a time). Drinks were not included in the $40 price. We weren’t bothered having just water though. The atmosphere was really nice and friendly. The music was enjoyable. Overall I’d recommend and plan to come back.

The Milwaukee area is lucky to have Korean BBQ in town! It is a wee bit expensive, but it is all-you-can-eat with appetizers and BBQ. It has a good atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. We loved our experience at Bawi and highly recommend checking this place out!

Excellent first time here, first experience with Korean BBQ. We went early (4:30) and seating was immediate. Everything on the menu was available, very fresh and flavorful. Tasty sides, appetizers and extra seasonings. Server was really outstanding and very attentive, made some great suggestions when asked, came by just enough to be sure everything was good and asking whether we wanted anything else. They changed out our grill plate periodically which preserved the flavor of our cooked food throughout the meal. Great environment and music. Definitely will go again!

I went here for a family dinner and the place was super busy and we had a little bit of a wait (which was no problem at all). What ended up happening is that the waitress never mentioned how the restaurant operated/how to order, so most the time we were confused and got partial answers throughout the meal and would only figure out things after they were done incorrectly. Even a little spiel at the beginning would’ve helped myself and my family feel more confident when cooking/ordering. The food was delicious and it was definitely worth it. Everyone there was happy and enjoying the experience.

Great food, great service. Willing to accommodate our large group. Got the pre-meal cold appetizers to us right away while we waited for our group. Servers were friendly and attentive.

At this point, this place just opened, and they are dine-in only, so you will not find their menu online. You will only see one in Missouri, so I put pictures of the menu here.

As a small business advocate, I dislike leaving bad reviews on small businesses. But I really didn’t enjoy my meal here. The meal started off on the wrong note when I sat down and noticed that the perimeter of my grill was dirty, presumably from meat juices from the night prior. Meats lacked flavor and seasoning, and there are almost no sauce options available other than soy sauce at the table. The kalbi ribs were the only meat I had that was seasoned well. The beef bulgogi didn’t look or taste particularly fresh. The sirloin had no flavor whatsoever. It took a little time to adjust to the electric grill, as I’m more accustomed to the gas version, but I learned and adapted. Service was decent, but the staff looks miserable. I worked in catering for 14 years and can spot an unhappy staff. The meal ended with a red bean mochi that tasted freezer burned. I’m sorry, but I won’t be back. I’m eagerly awaiting the opening of K Pot in Tosa this Fall.
