I finally decided to check this place out last Thursday. Food was great. I ordered veggie spring rolls with a chili sauce and Chicken & Broccoli with a brown garlic sauce. It’s usually difficult nowadays to find a spot that makes this dish and other similar ones this good. Chicken was juicy and tender made just right. They do have just enough parking available behind the restaurant. The time I ate there was early afternoon so it was a nice relaxed setting. I wish the prices were a little lower. (Just my opinion)

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I’ve loved it every time. The sesame chicken is always a hit. The waiters even know us and our orders. The decor is so unique too, love the comfy booths and fun artwork. Don’t sleep on their ice cream either!

We were the first ones there for lunch. I ordered the small plate of chicken and pine nuts. It was delicious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Great food and service!!! Plenty of parking behind the building. I will be sure to go back soon!

Baumgart’s has been a family favorite for many years. Our go to entrees have been the massaman curry with chicken or the crispy shrimp with honey walnut sauce. Generous portions. Their ice cream is good too.

I didn’t care for the crispy duck appetizer it wasn’t that good. My sister didn’t like her soup appetizer either. My sauteed Chinese eggplant and chicken was excellent! My sister had a chicken salad sandwich with fries was really good. Good fast service. Expensive for what we got. Soda was from a can, didn’t like that.

Food was nicely presented, but not hot at all. For desert I ordered a mini sundae which I always order when at Baumgart’s….seems like the scoop was much smaller this time around. Then, the server dropped the check, processed my credit card and when she dropped off my receipt, she told me the restaurant is closed and that I had to leave.

I love it here, my family has been coming here for years. They have the best sesame noodles I’ve ever had, which is saying something! Their sesame chicken is absolutely perfectly crunchy. The hot and sour soup is only served on weekends, but definitely try it if you have the chance. Also, the ice cream is amazing, and you can’t NOT get hot fudge on top.

Baumgart’s Cafe has been a neighborhood institution for over 20 years. They have an eclectic menu with something for everyone. While Chinese food is the staple of their menu, they also serve Japanese and Thai dishes as well as their signature homemade ice cream. If you’re not in the mood for Asian cuisine, they also offer salads, sandwiches and burgers. The atmosphere is cheerful and the staff is friendly. A great place for family dining, take out, or delivery.

The food tasted good but the overall service was awful. The workers were not friendly and were being cheap. Our meals were supposed to come with rice, but they only gave us 2 bowls of rice when there was supposed to be 3 (1 for each) and when we asked for the 3rd bowl, they said that if we needed it after we finished the other 2, they’ll get it for us, like WHAT?! The place was dirty and had a funky smell as well. Will not be going back to this place, thats for sure

I took my kids there for dessert and was very disappointed. The dessert we had was poorly presented. The hot fudge wasn’t hot and collected in the corner of the bowl and the malt powder was sprinkled in one little spot. The ice cream tasted fine but as a dessert it wasn’t worth the price. I used to take my kids there years ago and I remember the desserts to be much better than what we had on our last visit.
