We had a really fantastic first meal here on Sunday. We were a group of four (3 adults, one child) and arrived shortly after the 1 PM opening and many tables were already taken, and the food aromas were incredible-a good sign! The interior is intimate but not cramped, with space in Piermont being at a premium. Overall, we had a great experience with food and service and would return. The restaurant itself is not so fancy that you absolutely must dress up, and I also consider it child friendly for well behaved children, considering we had a six year old with us.

Prepare for a decent amount of waiting to be seated & for your food to arrive.I went at 8:30 & was seated around 9:15. I ordered the surf & turf paella which was seasoned very well. The only gripe was that the lobster tail was very dry & lacking any flavor. Unfortunately the server barely visited the table & didn’t even offer to refill our drinks the entire stay. All in all the food is prepared well, but the service is a weakness.

Simply fantastic place! I had wanted to come here for a while and wasn’t disappointed. We had tapas to start with the fried marchego being a particular highlight, my only negative on the whole meal was that the squid tapas was lovely, but there wasn’t much of it. I have been to Spain many times and have had Paella numerous times, but the seafood paella here was one of the best! Great fun atmosphere and we will be back.

Busy weekend. Beat the line by sitting at the bar. Bar filled up as well. Outside relatively available. Busy bustling vibe similar, reminiscent to tapas bars in Spain!

I’ll definitely be back. I felt everyone in the building was having a good time, the food was excellent, and the staff was friendly. The bar seats are not reserved so we were able to post up for dinner on a busy Friday night.

Good value for the quality of food. Love their lunch specials, clean but a bit loud at times. Bartenders can use a little more personality, but overall, it’s a good experience. Will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for a taste of Spain, then try Basque! The paella we had was a special for the night, but it was absolutely amazing. All of the seafood and rice was cooked to perfection and we couldn’t get enough! We also had the red wine braised chorizo tapas and it tasted delicious. I highly recommend getting the paella! It is a bit pricey but overall very worth the money cause you cannot beat the taste of the food.
