Damn good food, served pretty quick, inexpensive, good portions, I recommend them.

(Western Idaho Fair) Got a burrito for $15 gave them my card and got it back with no receipt. Checked my bank and they charged me $18.50. Never going again for dishonest people & i don’t mind tipping but taking it upon yourselves is completely unacceptable.

Ordered through door dash. Thought it was a bit expensive but wanted too try since the reviews were good. Definitely a disappointment. The portion size is small. Fits in a plate plate. Horchata was not very cold and no ice. Good was not very hot but that’s not a knock on then as it was delivered. Flavor was just ok. Have an odd amount of tortilla shells and no parsley, or other sides for the tacos. Only salsa for one of the dishes ordered. Would likely try somewhere else next time.

Unimpressed. Carnitas was flavorless, Al pastor was tough. The Cabeza was soft and silky, but seasoning was weak. The Tripa was good, I asked for them to make it a bit more crispy and they did that well. Priced way too high for this quality. $28 for 8 tacos? If I lived near here I would gladly drive to Nampa to get better/cheaper tacos. Salsa Verde was bland. And- only a single tortilla per taco. Rarely am I disappointed by a taco truck, ironic that they claim to be the Best Taco in the Treasure Valley.

We went here on a Tuesday around 11 am and they had just flipped their sign to open. They charge $3 per taco so we had high hopes. I’m a small person and the tacos were barely big enough for 2 bites. The carne asada, rice, and beans were all cold and the carne asada was very dry. If you happen to get their food fresh it might be good but the price for the size on top of not being fresh was very disappointing.

I’ve visited Basilios off and on over the past 10 years or something. I’ve had the food from different trucks that I would assume are part of the same Bailios team or business. The way the food is flavored, the way it tastes, seems to be consistent enough. Sometimes the food will vary in flavor when it is coming from food trucks and food trailers, but this places seems to have it very close. My favorite one was the one that would parks by WDS Global, and call center that I believe is under a different name if it is every still open. That one was the best I would say by my taste buds. But this one by Albersons on Lake Hazel is good enough, bean and cheese will always be my favorite. I always say that if the beans and cheese burritos are good, then the rest of the menu has hope, and they make them bean and cheese burritos perfect for me.

This place made it to the middle for me, but it didn’t impress. I’ve been here twice and leave with the same feeling every time. The first thing to point out is how expensive it is. I bought 5 tacos and a burrito once and it was nearly $20. Now, $20 for a great meal is a very reasonable price, however this was not a great meal for that price. The burrito was bland, no to mention as flat as a plate. I had to eat it with a fork. No big deal, but i think it could have been stuffed more. The tacos were delicious, but again expensive for the price. And the elote was cold both times I got it. Second, they charge you a fee for using your debit card which isn’t too much of a problem, but it’s annoying. I understand if I were using a credit card, but I find charging a fee for a debit card unreasonable. I also get businesses pay a fee to process debit cards, but (1) that is a cost that comes with operating a business, (2) the high prices they charge for cheap food should already cover that, (3) having your customers to pay for your operational costs seems shady and greedy. Probably won’t return. Not because it isn’t good food, it is, but you can find exceptional Mexican foods at other trucks for a much better price. Try Tacos El Rey in Meridian, or Adelitas off Federal, for authentic, delicious, reasonably priced food.

This use to be my go-to taco truck as it’s close to my house but since they raised their prices it’s not as desirable. Food hasn’t changed though and it’s still as awesome as it always has been. Update June 18th 2021 thought I’d give them another try and we got a burnt chicken quesadilla, gringa which is very scary in a very basic burrito and salsa for our tacos but they gave us four of them only a quarter full each. You know once a time this place Rocked, sorry guys but not so much anymore. With that said the place was packed with people standing in line for order so maybe they see something I don’t. PS. The staff are very friendly

I was so excited to see this toco truck at a company lunch in (Florida Tile). Their toco’s are amazing and their red hot salsa is not only hot but packed with flavor. My wife and I will drive out of our way to see these guys and are never disappointed.
