Fantastic burger joint. Although basic in name, the burgers are delicious & varied in selection. The limited edition ones are always great! This lead me to finally try their chicken sandwich. I will say, you can find a better one elsewhere, like Queen Mothers if you’re a chicken sammy lover like me. This doesn’t take a away from the beauty of Basic Burger; however, you’re gonna love what they have.

Go here now! Amazing onion rings! Fried pickles were on POINT! The fries we’re nice and crisp. My sandwich was fried to perfection, I got the Nashville hot honey chicken and it was good, but not hot at all. Not enough spice on the chicken. Hubbs got the BBQ chicken sandwich which was okay. The BBQ sauce was great but the chicken was barely fried which was disappointing. The cola was good I got the zero and it was as if Pepsi and coke had a baby lol hubbs got the root beer which was like mug brand. The staff was great! There was an issue with their system not taking orders when we first tried to order on the tablet but they helped us quickly. The bartender was nice. I got a mix of the two frozen options one was a daiquiri and the other was a pina colada. Hubbs got the peach mule which was good as well. This place is great! We will be back!

Chill and easy spot to grab a tasty and filling burger and fries! I’m gluten free so I got the burger in a lettuce wrap and was very satisfied with the flavor. They do offer a gluten free bun but those can be hit or miss. The sweet potato fries were flavor filled and straightforward. The atmosphere is good too, and they have a bar if you’d like variety. Quality burger place I plan on remembering!

These burgers and fries are amazing, and vibe of the place it’s really good, has a bar area with plenty of tv to watch a game or a family style seating area. The milkshakes it’s one the best one I had(cookies and cream). I will be coming back here for sure.

Wherever you live you’ve got to have a favorite burger place. If you’re still looking for one in DC, look no further. This place is amazing. Simple, extremely customizable, and delicious. None of those ridiculous, wannabe fancy burgers that are too tall to fit in your face. Just good burgers. Add to that an onsite bar with some decent beer and a friendly staff and this place is burger heaven.
