Bartleby is by far the best addition to the Ohio City neighborhood. From the atmosphere, food, drinks, and service I can’t rave about this restaurant enough! Nothing can compare to the beautiful architecture and decor of this spot. I love coming in for a cocktail at the bar, but also love dining in for dinner. The grain salad, lump crab pizza, and gemelli pasta are some of my favorites on the menu.

Be prepared to have your senses wowed when you walk into this restaurant! The renovations that they’ve done are absolutely beautiful. Great spot for anniversary or a special event. This will be a 5 Star place once they add more food options to their menu.

We really wanted to like this place, and we did enjoy the atmosphere and vibe. You are paying to be in a cool, renovated bank with tons of awesome decor. We were sat (with a reservation) at high tops near the bar where we felt a bit crammed in. The menu doesn’t really make sense. Lots of upscale items like steak and salmon but then also pizzas? The food was just ok. Presentation of it was solid, just not amazing flavor. This is definitely a popular spot in Cleveland right now with good crowds. Just know that you’re paying for that.

Had a reservation here Saturday night for my boyfriends bday dinner. We were sat promptly and service was good even on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great ambiance. Our cocktails were the highlight of our visit and crafted to perfection. The only downfall is the food. The crab fritters tasted like dry hush puppies and the crab pasta tasted like unpleasant fishy tuna helper literally. It tasted like it was canned crab too. I couldn’t eat it whatsoever so the whole dish went to waste. Ordered a side of bread that was burnt and hard as rocks with no flavor. My bf said his burger tasted decent but it was very well done when he asked for medium. Pretty unacceptable for what’s supposed to be fine dining. Didn’t make a big fuss about it though at the time but the food definitely wasn’t worth 100+ bucks. I recommend going for the drinks and atmosphere but don’t waste your money on the food whatsoever. A great Instagram pic and drink place.

Perfect atmosphere for any occasion from a quiet intimate dinner to a lively group of friends. This is attained by alcoves and large division with bookcases and candlelight that gives it an intimate feel. The food was wonderful and although a smaller selection as far as menus go the options were varied with multiple choices that all sounded delightful.

Beautiful, romantic, intimate and EXCELLENT food and service! Definitely did not take enough photos. Best arancini we’ve ever had plus the white pizza was to die for. Our server, Michael, was one of the best in the business. Can’t wait to go back!

We love this place! We have already been here twice and I highly recommend. Our friends from out of town also really loved this place. I highly recommend getting the roast chicken, it is killer. The atmosphere is everything, and I love looking around. Can’t wait to come back.
