Probably one of the best places I’ve ever been in all my travels! What a wonderful small hometown place where the service & hospitality were on point & the food was spot on….. oh so good! I would drive the hour & 45 minutes back to eat here again!

This is a hidden gem in this world of chain restaurants. Excellent food, friendly wait staff and authentic home cooked cuisine, not to mention the pleasant ambience of a house built in 1823. Full menu. I’ve never had a bad meal here. I particularly like the Cajun Blackened Chicken. Spicer than any chain will give you, but not super hot…just right. I cannot recommend this dining choice highly enough. Just excellent.

Great setting, great service, incredible food. Home made desserts and their dinners are some of the best Italian plates I have had. My better half is SUPER judgmental of meat balls (grandma’s Italian) and has not found any place that has meatballs that are any good. Until we had dinner here. Highly recommend!

Haven’t been here in years. Moved to SC. Back in town. Though it would be a nice place to take my girl who has never been here. It used to be a once a month or more dining pleasure. Not sure if it was just an off night but I was embarrassed. Food was cold, flavors were mediocre at best. Not at all what I remembered. Two stars as the waitress took good care of us.

Although the Barstow bread and every thing else we ordered was delicious the salmon was not so delicious and could not eat it. The waiter made up for it by giving us a free slice of cheesecake.

The restaurant is located in a renovated house. It’s clean and organized. You need to make reservations to ensure you get seated. The atmosphere is quiet and they play soft background music. It makes a good date night. My family and I find the food delicious. We usually go for the veal, steak, or shrimp. The only problem I’ve ever had was asking the waiter for a drink three times but we got an offer of dessert and then received the bill. Each time she completely blew us off for a second drink. We were totally baffled. I would recommend going here but don’t get your heart set on a second drink.
