Reboot of the former Carbone’s restaurant picks up significantly improved digs that are worthy of the great Italian food that comes out of the kitchen. Pastas and sandwiches are great across the board, and I especially like the Antipasti Salad. Service was a little confused on my last visit. It seemed like stations weren’t ready for service and there was a bit of an issue with everyone understanding their assignments, but maybe that will improve with time. Great place to grab a quick bite for lunch or a casual family dinner.

Mostly the same wonderful menu. Fantastic new interior design with a new big bar and plenty of seating. Will be back regularly. Great for dining solo or with friends and family. Best arancini I’ve ever had in Dallas. Killer wine list with good bottle prices.

If you’re in the mood for some really fantastic Italian food in the Highland Park area of Dallas I highly recommend Barsotti’s. Sister restaurant of Nonna. Food and wine price points are very reasonable.

Carbone’s is a family favorite restaurant that we frequent at least once a week. Our kids have the ceasar and the Sunday Gravy and we usually have a pasta or one of their delicious sandwiches. Anything on the menu is super delicious. The service is always very friendly and excellent. We highly recommend for anyone wanting super fresh Italian.

We had a poor experience here where we were told a 45 minute wait, then 60 minutes in told it would be another hour and a half. No one told us we were waiting for a reservation to cancel, and frankly I am certain it was an excuse for the host making an error. Why else tell us you will text us when the table is ready? Who else operates a wait list in such a manner? It spoiled a date for my partner and I.

Simple brilliance from one of the best chef’s in the city. The renovation makes the space far more inviting than it was when it was Carbone’s giving it a fun atmosphere and an ideal place to sit alone at the bar and enjoy a brilliant meal.
