Barry’s Bagels and Deli, located in the Allwood section of Clifton, near Styretown, is a popular bagel shop for local residents, with a plethora of sandwich choices for your palate. All sandwiches, from their breakfast specials to their lunch varieties, are generously portioned with the meat and eggs. They are a bit pricey, but but well worth the splurge. One thing though. This place does get crowded on line, and it can be both chaotic and sometimes even an interminable wait, often over ten and occasionally fifteen minutes just to get your order in, so budget your time accordingly.

Very expensive for what you get. I’d be surprised if there was more than one whole egg in my porkroll egg and cheese sandwich. It cost $12.00 for the sandwich and a pastry. Maybe I’m spoiled coming from New York, but I’ve never had less eggs and meat in a breakfast sandwich in my life. It tasted like bread that happened to have some eggs in it. On top of that there was about a quarter of a eggshell in my sandwich. I get mistakes happen and wouldn’t complain about a little piece, but I attached a photo of the giant chunks of shell (in addition to the ones that I crunched and swallowed on in my first two bites). Really too many issues for a sandwich that’s expensive. I will say that the counter staff is friendly and the place looks clean.

First time here and loved it! As a native of the Bronx, I’m picky with my bagels but the bagels here at Barry’s were awesome! Had the wholewheat everything and the poppy seed with sausage egg and cheese. Great staff, super friendly, and the place was super clean and cozy. We’ll be back! Thank you!

No other place gets it like these guys do. Been going here for years and the bagels are always on point (my choice is Ham, Bacon, Egg and Cheese on an Everything bagel with pepper + ketchup). The staff is always friendly, courteous, and helpful especially under the duress of the early breakfast rush these places must endure. Convenience, on top of quality of food and service makes Barry’s my go-to for breakfast!

Definitely has gone downhill. Bagels taste old and dry. I asked for egg and there were poppy seeds in it. The butter is none existent. It’s like a film of butter. Don’t ask for extra butter, because you never get it. The butter doesn’t taste good at all. It tastes old.

I should not even give 1 point because the customer service has become worse i bought extra toasted bagel in the morning the completely burned the bagel on opening the pack i realised that the had burned the bagel instead of toasting it i literaly had to throw away the bagel.
