As others have said, don’t judge by the looks. Inside is definitely more bar than grill, but we took our two kids (12 and 9) inside and it was fine. Perfect bar food menu. Sandwiches, appetizers, meals. Food was appropriate price and portions were good sized but not ridiculous. Server Anita was good and gave us loads of napkins. We did have to give her our credit card when ready to pay. we were traveling though on a Sunday at lunch, so if we are in the area again we would go back.

Blue cheese dressing tasted like watered-down diet dressing. Found something round and hard in my hamburger steak. I almost bit down on it. Waitress took back to kitchen staff, who said it was probably part of the steak seasoning, about the size of a large pea. It was not bone, gravel maybe! It was hot and sticky in the restaurant. The place needs an overhaul. Never again.

We were driving through during Hurricane Idalia and we were lucky enough that BHG was open. Sam, our bartender was excellent and recommended the ribeye. It was phenomenal along with the BHG sliced steak. Highly recommended and can’t wait to stop back in. BHG’s food is second to none!

Located in Waterboro SC local bar/restaurant looks better inside. I ordered BHG cut steak over mashed potatoes it was a 3 star not a lot of steak just a few slices with onions, flavor was good. Wife ordered double cheese burger she enjoyed it however patties were more on the smaller size in-between slider size and a 1/4 lb burger. Service was very friendly nothing over the top in service. I would recommend it if coming through the area.

Sweet little local watering hole. All the staff working were very welcoming and friendly. Perfect spot to stop if you’re driving down the 95 and are seeking a reprieve from the road in the form of a cold drink and good meal.

I was so upset when I left this place I could’ve spit fire! I almost didn’t leave a tip but ended up leaving $2. I ordered a burger (Ketchup only) the waitress repeated it back to me. I took 2 bites & realized it had onions & mushrooms which is whatever, people make mistakes. I told the waitress & she took my plate & said she would have them remake the burger. When I get it back I took the top bun off to check it & realized they gave me the same patty back on a different bun. You could see where I previously took 2 bites out of it They took it to the back & scrapped the onions & mushrooms off we had a 4 hr drive ahead of us so I just put it in a to go box & left. We will never go back, how rude of them!

Great food, even better service! Mrs. Sharon was the sweetest and went above and beyond for us. If we’re traveling on 95 again, we’ll make sure to stop here. We ordered wings, potato skins, and fried mushrooms came out fast and were delicious!

We found this place on a Google search for food. We knew it was going to be good by the numerous cars on the parking lot. This is a place the locals eat. And it was delicious. Food was very good, service was excellent and the bill was very reasonable. If I lived around here, it would be a regular stop for my family.
