I’ve been to Barrel House twice, and I enjoyed my food both times. It has a nice modern layout, and a wide selection of interesting food choices. This visit I settled on the Cowboy Burger. The burger was perfectly cooked, well done and not the slightest bit overcooked. The hash rounds were crispy with just a touch of seasoning. And my server Christine was great.

I just went here last night and OMG. They have it so right now!!!! The drink options and food were absolutely great!!! Like all new restaurants, they have to work out the kinks in the first month, but hot DAMN great food!!! Loved my shrimp tacos and margaritas!!!

We were asked if we wanted to sit in the garage. We said sure but should have said no. There were plenty of tables in the main dining room with the live entertainment. It was a small space with out door metal tables and chairs in a very plain room separate from the everything else. It may be a nice space with the garage doors open on a nice night but otherwise no ambiance and no decor. The waitress was nice and attentive but couldn’t tell me if they had sweet tea. I didn’t see a list of non alcoholic beverages on the menu. The firecracker shrimp was great! The patty melt with fries was disappointing. The meat had no flavor and the barrel sauce added an unusual mayoish taste to the patty melt. On the other hand my husband liked the patty melt. They do have a big menu and we will be going back; but I will stay away from the garage and the patty melt. We got the shrimp, two patty melts and one beer for $59. Overpriced in my opinion.
