We have been going to Barrel 55 for a year now and they have never disappointed. We have dined in, ordered takeout, and ordered a cake for a special occasion. We used to have to drive to Dubois for better food. Now we don’t have to every time we want something that is delicious and fresh. The portions are more than enough. Sometimes there can be a wait during dinner rush, but that should be expected for any restaurant with quality food.

Great restaurant! Food is above average and the menu in general offers dishes you won’t find at other local places. Like the Seafood Pasta I had tonight with mussels, shrimp and scallops…. soooo good!

Great food! American fair with a sophisticated twist, the menu features things like figs, goat cheese, and roasted garlic rosemary infused aioli. I had Chicken Ciabatta, the basil pesto was amazing. Again 4/5 because of ranch dressing. It’s runny. Worth going there again though, if just for the espresso and bakery.

A real gem in Brookville! Great menu, delicious food and cocktails, friendly and attentive service. The take home option for the extensive dessert case is dangerous!

Stopped in for the Log Yard Brewing tap takeover. The Short Rib Mac and Beer Battered Onion Rings were amazing!

My boyfriend and I went here this past weekend and we were not disappointed. He got the bourbon barbecue burger and I got the smoked gouda bacon burger. Both were great and the bourbon barbecue sauce was so good I would get that as a dipping sauce for my fries next time. Do not forget to go to the bakery where they have a wonderful variety to choose from. After selecting a few bakery items our fantastic server Allie boxed it all and rang us up. We will definitely be back!

Was not impressed at all. Waited forever for everything. Got the chicken and shrimp basket. Taste was alright, but it was over cooked. And the french fries were more like potato sticks. Hard to eat and not much potato in them. Staff was cordial and very attentive. I know restaurants are all suffering these days with staffing and other problems. I was told by friends it was a goid place to go, and i could see giving it another try, next time i am in the area.

This was a great little place. We had scallops which are typically tricky to cook but they were done perfectly. The bartender was terrific. She offered us a pumpkin bourbon cinnamon cider sangria and it sounds scary but it was really good. They have a bakery and coffee shop as well

We went to the one counter bakery, but what was in that counter was amazing. We had Long John donuts (custard filling) chocolate and sprinkles on top. The Lady cream horn, which were phenomenal. There were other selections as well and I’m sure they are just as tasty. The restaurant (bbq)wasn’t busy, but it was early afternoon, if they serve food anything like what the bakery sells…look out!! We will have to try it next time we are in town.

Great newer restaurant in town. My wife and I have been here numerous times and always have a wonderful time. The food is always perfectly prepared and delicious. After the amazing meal, we always walk over to their bakery area to get something for home. Again, always great. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in the area. You can tell that they take pride in what they do because it shows.
