What a rare treat. A great little spot with wonderful character, food and service. The gifted owner and host, Parfait, fully deserves his real French name (translates to Perfect). So refreshing to see his smile and attention to every detail for a superb experience, while purposefully keeping his restaurant small to ensure personal attention and superior food. The garlic bread and our salad and pasta were excellent. Great little wine list. Most surprisingly, prices are MUCH lower than I would expect and Barrel 33 could charge.

Very cool little secret hidden bar. Sort of a tropical vibe. You have to make reservations but once you’re in you can stay as long as you want and relax. We ordered a couple appetizers and expensive wine, but it was amazing.

Got a last-minute table for dinner. Happy we did. The place is fun. Like several other descriptions say, it’s a garden oasis. Outdoor seating only(I think). Parfait, the owner, is an incredible host/server. GREAT personality. Very knowledgeable with wines. The food was fantastic(had the penne prima vera after an appetizer board of cheeses). The atmosphere is great. The entire dinner experience was delightful. Highly recommend trying this place out.

Happily discovered this adorable garden oasis while walking around Ventura. We stopped in for a couple glasses of wine, but didn’t get any food as we’d already eaten — looking forward to returning so we can try some menu selections. Service was impeccable!

This place offers stellar ambiance with incredible service, wine, and food! A great spot for a date night or a fancy event with friends. Truly the best kept secret in Ventura. The owner is so welcoming and truly makes it a special experience for everyone! The food is incredible and artisanal. The prices add up with repeated wines by the glass but the quality is top notch and well worth it! I can’t wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary date night. I was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere, food, and the level of service/professionalism Parfait (the owner) gives as he single handedly handles greeting, seating, and waiting on guests. We will be back!

We’ve driven by here so many times, but the exterior belies the special ambiance within. The outside patio with its beautiful garden & quiet seating areas makes a very environment to enjoy your meal. And did we ever enjoy our meal. The cheese selection appetizer with a delicious wine. Then the pasta & pizza was delicious. The service by the owner was personal & friendly. My wife & I were not rushed but encouraged to have a long dinner date and enjoy the food & atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a romantic evening out. Prices were very fair for the quality of food.

Was able to get a last minute dinner reservation and really enjoyed our experience. The owner was waiting tables and was very personable. The place had a relaxing outdoor oasis atmosphere. We ordered a pizza and pasta which were both pretty good. Had a decent international wine selection. Overall a great small scale restaurant with exceptional service. Would recommend
