Gloucester Premium Outlet Barkley’s BBQ Food Truck review. This is my 3rd time visiting this Barkley’s. 1st time they ran out of ribs. That’s a good and bad thing. Made me want to try them out. So when I was in heading back from AC I said let me stop and get some ribs. Order 1/2 slab for $22 including tax. There were 6 bones. One which was really small. They were really good, gave 1/2 to my wife and she enjoyed them as well. I give that visit 4 stars. This time on 8/31/23 I had off work and drove about 25 minutes to get some ribs and do some shopping. This time no bueno. They were not good this time. The were smoked but seemed undercooked. No sear or char on the ribs. They were also very short and fat, and fatty. Very disappointed. I give the food on this visit 2 stars. Note to owner, I would suggest not serving ribs of this quality. They were not good at all. I thought about complaining and returning but I didn’t want to be that guy. Overall I give the Food truck 3 Stars. Not sure If I would recommend them. Not sure if I would go back especially If I have a taste for BBQ. Still looking for the spot in the Philly area. Thought they were it. But they are not. One this day they were busy. I may have got a bad batch of ribs. I would say give them a try but temper your expectations.

My Mom wanted some BBQ so I ordered a Rib platter for her. She ordered the hot Ribs w/ Mac & cheese & greens for the sides. The Ribs were good! The sides were bland and not seasoned but you can add your own seasoning… Overall the food is good & worth it, I’d suggest call ahead to order.

Amazing BBQ, best I’ve had in the DE, NJ & Philly area since moving from Texas to NJ in 2005. Great atmosphere with a Sunday family BBQ day. Great prices for absolutely delicious food! Come by the food truck at the Gloucester premium outlets.

Stopped pass Barkley’s food truck at Gloucester Outlets. The bbq aroma was mesmerizing. I grabbed a 1/2 slab of ribs, collard greens, mac & cheese. The ribs were ok. It’s not tough, but not falling off the bone tender. Very stingy with the bbq sauce. Collard greens were bland. They lacked season and flavor. The mac and cheese were not cheesey enough and again lacked flavor. In Washington Township, you can get away with serving this but not in Philly….Philly

Unfriendly service, stand-off attitude, and Luke warm food. Gave generous portions of meat but skimped on side portions. BBQ meat was dry. The meat did have a wood smoked flavor. BBQ sauce was okay but was not provided as a side condiment…you just got what was dried up on the meat only. I would not recommend it.

Known about this place for years. Grewup around the corner from this place but never tried it. Now I know why the food is horrible. This is not good BBQ the brisket is dry and tough the ribs are tough very little BBQ sauce and no flavor in the meat. I should have listened to my wife do not let the BBQ smell in the air fool you try something else another food truck save your money. Dykes BBQ truck at the same event on 54th St. Should have ate there had lunch there before and it was way better then this place. But if you want good BBQ and side go to Didds on Lancaster av 100 x better. Somebody need to sma__ PJ for wdas for talking about this place. Horrible

Wanted to try the food, every time I go to Gloucester outlet the smell I’m tempted to try Barkley’s bbq… well today I decided to get a Platter, don’t waste your time and money!

This was literally a waste of money. I had this at Linvilla Orchards after waiting in line for over 40 mins I ordered the Beef brisket and BBQ chicken. The beef brisket was inedible way to much salt. The Mac and cheese was ok, the collard greens were salty as well. The southern slaw was good. I will definitely not be ordering from here again

From the truck at Gloucester outlets I ordered the Brisket, mac no cheese, greens baked beans( more like bean soup) yam and apple puree…Worst decision ever. Two words. food poison…on my second day.
